• "Great cottage."

  This is centrally located on the west side of Cornwall, close to Newquay. Nice view of the beach and a short walk from the cottage. Beds were comfortable. Plenty of sitting space in the common areas. Kitchen was well stocked of utensils. On premises parking. Perfect arrival and departure instructions. A 13thC pub with a thatched roof within walking distance. We would gladly stay here again.

• "Lovely place to stay."

  Close proximity to the beach was ideal for daily walks and the views of the beach from the apartment were beautiful. Close to two different pubs for days when you don’t want to cook but the kitchen was well equipped for the days that you do. The accommodation in general was well presented, cosy and had everything you could possibly need. Would definitely book again!

• "A Fabulous apartment but the pictures shown of steps are misleading."

  The steps shown are to the front and the apartment is on the top floor. These steps are used for going out on foot. We arrived in heavy rain to find that to access the property from the car park entailed negotiating 8 +7 external concrete steps down then another 12 steps back up inside the apartment. Not easy when unloading luggage, 54 steps per trip!. We probably wouldn't have booked had we known but we had a fabulous time. Very good access to beach and local eateries, plus the store in Cubert is excellent. Sunsets form the sitting room and balcony were to die for. Would highly recommend but beware steps.

• "Atlantic View is genuinely a home from home."

  The owners - Elaine and Jason - have made it a very special place to stay. As well as the idyllic location (you can't get much closer to Holywell Bay) they have made the apartment as welcoming as their communication leading up to our visit. Facilities are excellent - 2 parking spaces, 2 very well appointed bathrooms, 2 extremely comfortable bedrooms and a kitchen/breakfast room with everything you need. And, of course, the balcony with its stunning view. We happily recommend Atlantic View and hope to return next year.

• "We have enjoyed many family holidays to Holywell Bay over the years."

  However, we first experienced Atlantic View during the summer of 2021 and have continued to return there since. Excellent, well appointed apartment with direct access to the beautiful beach, coastal path and good local facilities. Sipping a morning coffee or evening cocktail, whilst enjoying the fabulous view/sunsets from the balcony. What's not to love! Already rebooked for next year. Thank you to the lovely owners for sharing this very special place.

• "We love Holywell Bay and holiday there often, but this was our first time staying at Atlantic Cottage."

  The views over the beach were just so spectacular and we felt so blessed to be able to sit out on the balcony taking in the view. The proximity to the beach was amazing. The property was spacious, clean and comfortable well equipped. The outside shed was a real bonus for all our beach gear and wetsuits. I would highly recommend it as an unforgettable holiday home. We’ll be back

• "An extremely comfortable, well-equipped, immaculate apartment."

  Wonderful views from a decent sized balcony. Short walk to the beach. Plus the added bonus of a double parking space where, it seems, parking is very much at a premium. Absolutely loved all the individual touches in both bedrooms & the sitting room. It is a lovely place to stay if you want to unwind & relax. Which we did. Thanks to Elaine & Jason for the "goodies" - especially the Cornish butter. What a treat. You have a beautiful holiday home.

• "Very well equipped and great location."

  Bread and butter was welcome touch. Only think we found was that in main bedroom I had to be careful how I got out due to the eaves. My husband who is six foot had to be careful not to bang his head at times. I felt if main bed in main room was switched over to other side this would solve the problem but perhaps it’s only us? a visitor book would be good as people can share views on local places as well. Very peaceful location and easy to beach and south west path

• "We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this lovely, most tastefully decorated flat in Holywell."

  The accommodation had everything you could possibly need. It proved to be a very peaceful location (though not yet in the school holidays, when it may become rather busier), you could walk to the sea in 5 to 10 minutes, and we enjoyed superb views of the waves rolling onto the sand dunes, and a few amazing sunsets, from the lounge or balcony. I'm sure we would consider staying there again one day.

• "The advertised pictures really does not give this property justice."

  I was pleasantly surprised of the space and facilities of this property. There were a few personal touches that made us feel very welcome. The décor is fresh and tasteful and the location was perfect. It was very clean making us feel we were the first to use the property. The bed was a bit soft for me but that is a personal choice. The other guests felt that the mattress protector gave them a bit of an uncomfortable stay in the hot weather. This was our only grumble. We would definitely love to stay there again in the same property!

• "This is a wonderful apartment with lovely views of the bay and easy access to the beach."

  Everything you need was available, very modern decor, spotless and comfortable. Local shops in Cubert down the road made shopping simple and the local pubs, especially The Smugglers Den, offered good menus and food. Although a note for consideration, this is advertised as a first floor apartment, perhaps a mention that there are a lot of stairs to negotiate. Down two flights of stairs from the car park and then up the inside stairs once in the front door. OK if you are younger but could be a problem for older folk with luggage to deal with.
