  • "Really good property, large, clean and well maintained - would stay again."

It is in a good location, quiet and private. Some nice touches, such as being welcomed in and shown around by the host with good communication before, during and at the end of the stay. Had a welcome bag with tea and biscuits, coffee pods, and some milk in the fridge - this was a nice touch, the milk in particular I have not seen done in similar stays. Some minor things that could have been improved; providing hand soap at the sinks and some basics like salt, pepper and sugar would have been handy as these are the kind of things that you don't want to purchase just for one week as you will never get through them and have had provided in the past. Would definitely rebook and stay again in future.

I would highly recommend Willow it is an excellent property ideally situated for some peace and quiet Michelle visited us on our arrival to explain everything to us then left us to our own resources We had an issue mid week where our bin storage lid was blown off in an overnight storm I sent Michelle a text to report the problem we went out came back within the hour and the problem had been sorted We will probably visit again when the work on the A30 is complete I'm not one for sitting in endless traffic jams

  • "The lodge and it’s facilities were exceptionally good."

The only complaint is that we weren’t told until about a week before we went that the golf course and clubhouse were closed so husband and kids couldn’t play golf.

  • "Great location, far enough away from everything but close enough to great places to visit."

The accommodation is bigger than the pictures would suggest, and all furnishing, fittings and facilities are of a high standard. Peaceful, plenty of open space (perfect for dog owners) and highly recommended, we hope to return! Mel was helpful and friendly, too.

  • "The lodge was in beautiful surroundings but near to local amenities as needed."

It was immaculately clean with everything we needed for a self catering holiday. The smart Tv's were a hit for our children and there was plentiful space for the younger children to play outside.

  • "Lovely location."

Beautiful accommodation. A couple of suggestions though. The wet room was very nice, but, it seemed strange there were no grab rails in the shower, although there were around the toilet. This made it difficult for my mother who is disabled to shower, hence the need for a wet room. On arrival, one of the toilet seats was very loose. This should have been picked up when the lodge was cleaned. This couldn't be rectified until the Monday as there is no maintenance over the weekend, which is a bit of a concern should we have encountered any serious problems. All in all we had a fabulous time and will be returning.

  • "Great place to stay."

Plenty of room and very comfortable. The lodge is well equipped with plenty of glasses, crockery etc. Michelle was extremely helpful and pleasant. Nothing was a problem The only negative to the lodge is the creaky flooring throughout most of the property.
