• "The property was very clean and tidy on arrival, and the garden was ideal for the dog as it was fully enclosed."

  The cottage had everything you could want for a comfortable stay. We had a lot of trouble finding the cottage as the instructions said to look out for a white sign next to recycle bins, but the white sign was resting against a low wall that was overgrown and partially hidden by one of the bins so was not very noticeable. Maybe if the sign was displayed higher up it would be easier to see. The only real negatives were how uncomfortable the bed was, we are used to firm pillows, and these were very thin, this resulted in us leaving a day early, as we had had such poor sleep for the time we were there, and also parking, as the space to park in was in a courtyard, but when neighbouring vehicles were parked adjacent to the courtyard entrance it made it difficult to get in and out of.

  Thankyou for your positive comments about Mews and its garden. We like to think that guests can relax at the property knowing the garden is safe and secure for their dogs. We take on board your comments about the entrance sign....it is usually clearly visible but on this occasion may have been obscured. We have already taken steps to make it more visible to new guests. Previous guests have often commented on how comfortable our beds and bedding are, so we are sorry that they weren't to your personal taste. As for the parking, the property has safe and off road parking but we do acknowledge that care needs to be taken entering and exiting the courtyard into the private lane . Property Owner

  A lovely welcome with an amazing home made cake and biscuits for our black labrador Leo. All the comforts of home, a gorgeous garden and lovely surrounding area. Diane and Steve were very helpful and informative. We will be back.

• "We recently stayed for a week with our 2 dogs."

  The property was lovely, had everything we would possibly need and the dogs loved the fully enclosed garden. The welcome cake was a lovely surprise and delicious. The beds were comfortable and the shower was so powerful it was like having a massage. Good location for exploring Cornwall. I would definitely recommend this property.

• "Loved this holiday home , it had everything you could possibly need and more on arrival a beautiful Victoria sponge was waiting for us along wit tea milk sugar etc."

  parking is tight but secure , the drive to the main road is an experience for around 3 miles so narrow and many blind bends. You must visit the local pub in Blisland ,as it’s unique and the food is amazing as are the staff.forgot to mention the garden !!! It is brilliant and secure for a dog .

• "A wonderful stay at The Mews which has a lovely, homely feel."

  Has absolutely everything you need and very comfortable beds. There was a delicious homemade cake waiting for us too, thank you so much! Situated in such a peaceful location, the only sound you can hear is the birds singing...bliss The garden is excellent, very secure, and our little Yorkie loved it. A great location for visiting all the lovely places Cornwall has to offer. Thank you so much for a wonderful and relaxing holiday.

• "The Mews was in a great location and was a very comfortable place to stay for the week."

  The only comment I would make is that parking is a bit tricky if you have a long vehicle (5.4 meters) like I have. If someone is parked outside the other cottage it is very difficult/impossible to reverse into the courtyard outside the Mews. Maybe this should me made more clear in the description of the cottage.

• "The Mews is perfectly situated so you can explore both North and south coasts."

  The cottage is perfect for a quiet getaway with all the comforts needed. Near by village of Blisland is beautiful with lots of walks and good food at the local pub. We enjoyed our stay so much we didn’t want to leave. Our dogs loved the safe enclosed garden as did we. We would definitely recommend to people of any age with or without kids and dogs to visit.

  The owners have thought of everything and the small touches to make you feel welcome were the icing on the cake! Would definitely recommend as it is in a really accessible area to all points of interest close by and particularly for the camel trail. Perfect for the doggies too! We would book again.

• "Absolutely amazing cottage."

  Very well appointed. Everything you need and more, plus a fully enclosed garden. Plenty of walks nearby. Couldn’t ask for anything more. We arrived to yummy chocolate cake, tea,coffee & milk, plus dog biscuits for our fur babies. We had a brilliant holiday. Thank you to the wonderful hosts. Can highly recommend this adorable cottage.

• "Very well equipped holiday home, nice personal touches (especially the yummy homemade cake, thank you!"

  ) Great location for exploring Cornwall, lots of useful information on the area provided by the hosts and good communication from them when we had a slight issue with the heating. This was resolved quickly and did not affect the comfort of our stay. Would highly recommend staying here :-)
