• "Lovely hut, smaller space than expected, photos did make the upstairs look bigger, could benefit with a mop ( after being in the tub on rainy nights) and a hand held vacuum."

  took a delightful stroll to the recommended gun power mills and wow its really something special (a hidden gem). 3 miles down the road is the fox and hounds country pub ( fresh homemade meals, locally sourced produce) these establishments nowadays are a hard fine but again would highly recommend. Owners left us too our own but was on call when needed, yes I would definitely recommend this to family and friends.

  The hot tub was absolutely amazing and so relaxing. Also Andrew and Nicola are very lovely and helpful. We will be recommending this holiday to everyone.

• "What a fantastic excellent stay."

  We had 2 small children and their travel cots fitted perfect upstairs. The cabin itself was perfect and everything you needed, the hot tub was amazing. I can't fault anything about the cabin itself. The only prob I had is that you don't park outside your cabin its in a carpark about 3/4 min walk away. I did see that you did provide little trolleys to put all you luggage in, they were full of water so cudnt use them. So had todo 4 trips. Apart from that fantastic stay, will definitely come back and will definitely tell friends and family to come Thank you

• "I will definitely be going back; a two night stay wasn't nearly enough in this lovely cabin."

  The cabin itself is beautiful, as is the view, and you couldn't ask for a friendlier or more welcoming, helpful host. At one point I was brought an extra blanket because they'd noticed the weather was getting colder. I will take that thoughtfulness over a five star hotel any day. Bonus appreciation to whoever built the fantastic wooden staircases; they're a marvel in themselves and are solid as a rock. My stay was from 1st March in horrible, wet, freezing cold weather and I loved every minute of it. I arrived after midnight having just had a hair-raising drive across a very snowy Dartmoor and was welcomed by two electric heaters and a kitchen to make a hot chocolate in. I hadn't been sure what to expect with the weather the way it was, but I couldn't have been cosier in my lovely toasty warm bed on both nights.

• "Had a lovely few days staying here as a girls trip for my birthday."

  The cabin had everything we needed and the extra Halloween decorations were a lovely surprise. The location as well as the accommodation itself is absolutely beautiful and the owner Andrew was very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately the weather wasn’t the best and so we didn’t end up using the hot tub but we still had a lovely time and plenty of space to relax inside.

• "Our holiday at Olju Lodge was fantastic."

  Beautiful lodge, lovely hot tub, well equipped lodge with everything you needed, stunning surroundings, all the main towns were within a short drive away. Would highly recommend, will definitely be coming back for another holiday. Met Andrew the owner a few times throughout our stay, very friendly & very helpful if we needed anything doing. • "What an amazingly unique place to stay."

  Set in the Cornish Countryside with rolling fields, picturesque sunsets to view from the tranquil hot tub down to dusk. We glamp quite alot and this pod is unique with a mezzanine floor off a wooden spiral staircase at each side, featuring a very comfortable double bed on one side and two singles on the other. Kitchen equipped with what you need for a pleasant stay. Fabulous shower and bathroom with large shower. Close to local amenities but far enough to not spoil the views. Location was spot on for us! Andrew was on hand to help, more than attentive and happy to help!! Thank you ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

• "Had a fantastic stay at the Olju, even though it mostly rained we still enjoyed every minute The location was perfect, although no sea views the central location made our journey on days out minimal, Falmouth was 10 minutes away, Lands end and St Ives roughly an hour, with two children this was perfect The lodge itself is like a Tardis, magically bigger on the inside, having the beds above the kitchen/living area frees up so much room."

  The kitchen had everything we needed for a family of four, all the pots, pans and utensils. The beds were super comfy with quality bedding, made for perfect nights sleeps, being 6ft tall I did knock my head a few times crawling into the bed space but that’s all part of the fun Having the car parking set back a little was a nice touch, so all you see around you are fields and greenery, and at most it was only a minute walk away so not inconvenient at all, there are trolleys to help with luggage if needed too The most fun part was the hot tub, even in the rain still enjoyable for the kids and relaxing for us adults to sit back and enjoy the view in the day and at night, and on our last night the sun popped out so we roasted marshmallows on the fire pit Would stay here again 100% and recommend to friends and family with no hesitation

• "We had amazing time."

  We were surprised by the attention to the tiny details. We could clearly see the effort to make this cottage comfortable. It's actually luxurious. The cottage was clean and elegantly designed. Andrew, the owner, was very helpful and made sure to provide us with all info to enjoy our stay and visit places. The cottage privacy was surprising, and we felt completely comfortable in the hot tub. The location of the cottage is in the middle of where all the amazing things are. We could reach everything within 40min max. We recommended this to all our friends and will be definitely coming back here if we are visiting this area again.

• "The property itself was very quaint and pretty with amazing views of the countryside."

  The facilities were good with pretty much everything you need to survive! The complimentary Prosecco and biscuits/cereal were a lovey touch and very much appreciated. The hot tub was lovely! Even though there were two other guys there, privacy was good. The peace was amazing, just what was needed to escape the hustle and bustle of our normal life. I think my only 2 slightly negative points were that sadly the sofa was quite uncomfortable for longer periods of just chilling and the steps up to the bedrooms were quite scary! Other than that, our stay was definitely an enjoyable one and we would recommend anyone stay at the lodges.

• "We enjoyed such a lovely stay here!"

  Upon arrival we were a bit worried about the other lodges near by but it was still very private and we barely saw anyone else. The lodge was perfectly clean and comfortable, it was very fun to stay there!! We loved climbing up to bed every night! And the hot tub and beautiful views topped it all off. We were well looked after and offered extra towels half way through the week which is rare!! It is a lovely location too, only 15 minutes to Falmouth town/beaches and about 30-45 minutes to travel to other places we love such as Gwithian beach, St Ives, Kynance etc. We would definitely reccomend!!

• "This property does not have a covering over the hot tub which makes it un useable in poor weather."

  Parking so far from property is not good in poor weather. In poor weather the WiFi does not work properly. This property is a summer time only property.

  Thank you for taking the time to leave feedback. I am sorry about the weather during your stay. The hot tub has purposely no cover, as this is part of the attraction to staying at OLJU Lodges, so guests can enjoy the stars at night due to no ambient light. The car park is 100m from the lodges, this again is nice for guests as there is no vehicle movement near the lodges. If there has been bad weather guests have and are allowed to drive down to the gate to unload their bags. I will now note this in the instructions so everyone is aware of this. I constantly monitor the coverage of the WI-FI in all weather and have not noticed any failings as it is on a SIM card with good coverage. I will continue to do this incase the coverage does fail. We have had many guests staying over the winter months who have thoroughly enjoyed staying in the lodges, many note how warm and cozy they are. The hot tubs have also been in constant use. Unfortunately I cannot control the Cornish weather, I wish I could, but this is also the Beauty of Cornwall. We are so sorry you didn't get the most out of your stay and we welcome you back anytime. • "Beautiful location, extremely clean and very comfortable for such a small structure!"

  Our host was very helpful, keeping us topped up with towels, and he left us wood for the fire pit for a modest charge. Be careful on the staircases, they are more like a climbing frame!! But it heated up quickly inside and the hot tub was amazing, we were in it nearly every day! Highly recommend if you want to explore the area from a cute and cozy little base.

• "Myself husband and two children stayed for a weekend in the Olju at the end of Feb and what a beautiful stay we had."

  The huts are beautifully finished, the cleanliness could not be faulted the quality of the beds/bedding etc were too class. The little touches left by the owners were so sweet. The area was peaceful and calm just what we were looking for. I was worried we would be cold but the hut was sufficiently heated and very cosy. There was BBQ and children's garden games that could be used which also was a nice addition. The hit tub was the cherry on top !! We can't wait to visit again thank you so much for a beautiful weekend !

• "The Olju was exactly what we hoped for and the perfect setting for a romantic week away."

  The cabin itself was brilliant, very clean, and well appointed. The location was perfect for exploring Cornwall, being ideally situated to visit both the north and south coast. After a busy day exploring, it was ideal to come back and have a soak in the hot tub and watch the sunset. The provided BBQ facilities gave us the opportunity to make smoores and have a cup of tea by the fire. The beds in the Olju were comfier than I was expecting and the heating helped keep it nice and cosy. It took a bit of getting used to having a low ceiling on the mezzanine floor, but it was quite a novelty going up and down the beautiful wooden staircases. For anyone looking for a quiet location with easy access to Falmouth and the surrounding area, I'd definitely recommend the Olju

  Recommend visits to Land End, Falmouth for a boat trip and any of the National Trust beaches or properties.

• "Had a brilliant stay!"

  We were so well looked after and we were able to completely relax. The Olju is very clean and tidy, with all the amenities you need. The bed was very comfortable as was the living area. Such a cosy place to stay and we will be back when visiting this area again. Thank you for a wonderful week!

• "We had a lovely stay at The Olju."

  We were after a quiet relaxing break with the children and this is exactly what we had. The location was perfect, in a field in the middle of no where but still only a short drive to Falmouth. The lodge was beautiful and very clean. It had a small well equipped kitchen and lounge area with a table for eating. Upstairs had low ceilings which meant crawling to get into bed which was fun! Small quirky stairs to bedrooms which as a family we all managed fined including the 6 year old. The best bit was the hot tub which was loved by all. Would definitely go back again and highly recommend, non of us wanted to leave! 10/10

• "We LOVED the Olju Lodge and can't wait to come and stay again."

  The Lodge is beautiful, clean and comfortable, impeccably decorated and has everything you need. The setting is heavenly and we watched the sun set while sitting outside the Lodge and listening to swallows swooping all around us. It's close to lots of fabulous places to visit but far enough away from everything to really relax. Absolutely perfect.
