Sustonica, the first global sustainability standard for holiday lets.
Our aim is to create lasting holiday memories and we intend to do so both responsibly and sustainably.
To deliver on this we've set out a number of environmental and social pledges which help to focus our efforts;

This is why we've partnered with Sustonica, the first global certification for holiday lets,
to support our owners to be more sustainable.
The Sustonica certification focuses on four key areas: energy conservation, water conservation,
waste reduction and promoting inclusiveness. They are on a mission to become the most widely

Properties that display the Sustonica badge have successfully passed the criteria,

and their owner has made a commitment to look after our planet as well as you.
A lovley cozy property, with absolutely everything you need for a home from home stay.

Perfect base for exploring the area and after a long day a comfortable bed awaits. Every detail has been thought about and a much needed welcome pack is waiting.
Nothing is too much for Gary if you have any queries. Would definitely recommend this cottage!

"Lovely cottage well equipped."
Only downside was uncomfortable bed.
Outside area was beyond our expectations.
Thank you for your feedback I am surprised you found the bed uncomfortable we have only ever had favourable comments about the beds.
When we purchased the cottage we never intended to let it and anything in the cottage are items we would want to live with but as they say on the bed adverts beds are a personal choice.
I am pleased you liked the garden again full of plants I have collected over many years.
Many thanks Gary

"A very comfortable stay at the cottage, which had everything we needed."
The cottage was very clean and welcoming and the welcome pack was a lovely touch. The village was quiet just as we liked and we only used our car once. We used the local bus services which were very convenient and allowed us to do long linear walks. We would highly recommend this cottage.
Thank you for your feedback. What can I say if my language skills were as good as yours this could have been written by me.
Hope you have time to stay again many thanks Gary

"We loved staying in 2 The Cottages."
It is a comfortable and cosy little house in a very peaceful location. The St Michael's Way walk literally passes the front door which gives very easy access to beautiful countryside. Penzance is within easy reach as is the beach at Long Rock / Marazion. I would have no hesitation in recommending the cottage to anyone looking for a relaxing, quiet holiday.
Hi Anita
Really pleased that you loved our cottage and had a good holiday.
We do a lot of walking and cycling and as you say it is ideally located for Marazion, Penzance, Longrock as well as Mousehole, Newlyn, St Ives, etc.
Hope you enjoyed sitting in the garden which seems to be the warmest place in Cornwall.
Hope to see you again and thanks for the lovely feedback.

The welcome tray was a lovely touch - plus milk in the fridge. Lots of information provided about the cottage and the area. We tend to stick around Penwith so the location was great.
Thanks for a great stay.

"We had a lovely stay in the property and it is ideally situated."
The property was cosy, very clean and well equipped. The rear garden was delightful. It was just a shame we didn’t get to use it as the weather was not very kind to us. The only down side to the property was that it was a bit on the small side for us.

"The cottage is, as expected, small therefore it does cause some minor problems."
Access to the food storage cupboard in the kitchen is difficult. A folding hinged door would be very helpful. The table under the stairs does need to be moved when using to eat as again very little space. There is very little room in the main bedroom which makes dressing or drying hair a bit awkward. Access to wardrobe area in second bedroom is also difficult. None of these issues spoilt our stay but they were a little troublesome. I understand it is the nature of small Cornish cottages. Our stay was howeververy comfortable and enjoyable.

The garden was very interesting and a lovely sunny spot to sit in the afternoon. The sea view from the top of the garden was a bonus. An ideal location to explore a large part of cornwall.
