  • "The property is well fitted out and it is like home from home."

Bedding and towels provided, with extra in the cupboard. However as the property is in dire need of TLC - new bathroom, downstairs loo, a really good deep clean and redecorating and a new comfortable sofa. The property looks really grubby. The bath is rusty, radiator is rusty. The non slip stuck in mats in the bath are dirty & grubby. The cupboard under the stairs smells absolutely disgusting. You are requested to leave the property clean and tidy even stripping the beds!!!! Sadly though the owner clearly needs to do the same!

Thank you for your feedback, Clare. I will be attending to the matters you have raised as I myself will be staying next week to see how the property has fared over the summer letting season. I am disappointed to hear about the bathroom radiator which was replaced only 2 years ago when the cottage heating system was upgraded. The bath will be attended to next week. I cannot imagine what has caused the smell in the understairs cupboard but will turn out it out and clean completely next week. I'll have a word with housekeeping too. I regret if this spoilt your holiday. Kind regards, Barbara. 4th October 2024. Update on the issues raised. On inspection, the bathroom radiator had one bar showing signs of tarnish but this has cleaned off so there is no rust on the radiator now The bath has had the anti-slip discs removed and a rubber mat is provided to ensure your safety using the bath. Rust on the bath is not evident, perhaps an accumulation of cleaning product on the side handles? The cause of a smell in the understairs cupboard is attributable to the cleaning mop head which has been removed and a new one fitted. The furnishings are not grubby. The living room was redecorated this spring with new curtains and all carpets professionally cleaned. Guests are asked to strip the beds to assist housekeeping with changeovers but, if you prefer not to, our housekeeper will strip the beds. There is no expectation in our property for the beds to be stripped. Kind regards, Barbara Property Owner

  • "An excellent property and very well equipped."

Nice touches including dishwasher tablets, milk in the fridge, tea and coffee, board games, bbq and beach equipment enhanced our visit. Nice quiet position, we chose it for the name and will definitely be going back.

Delighted to read how much you enjoyed your stay at "Trelease", Pendra Loweth. The cottage name was chosen to preserve a family name, which has origins as a place name meaning 'homestead' in Cornish. We look forward to welcoming you for a return visit. There is so much to explore in the local area. Property Owner

  • "Lovely holiday in Trelease."

We usually stay at a different home in Pendra Loweth but were really happy with the position and garden for the kids at Trelease. The only improvement would be in having a second twin rather than the double as awkward with growing kids trying to get them to share (our usual cottage has a double, twin and a single with a pull out that can convert it to a twin or double - more options! Other than that, excellent, all necessary crockery etc and great location for kids playground. Well be back for the 8th time I'm sure!
