  The flat was lovely and clean and well furnished. The view looking out to St. Michaels mount and the bay is fantastic. Sea front only a few minuets from the door or look out the window a car park then sea and sand. Short drive to Penzance. Already booked for next year.

  The apartment has everything we could need including a decent shower and we did not need an A Level to be able to get it to work as you do some.. It is great to have parking right outside the front door and so convenient having four supermarkets close by: Morrison's, Asda, Sainsbury's and Lidl and an ice cream shop just up the road selling Callestick ice cream made in Cornwall with super flavours new this year!! .We allowed a day to explore the intriguing Saint Michael's Mount again, it was good fun walking across the causeway and we enjoyed the trip back by boat.

  We had a fabulous two weeks holiday and decided to book this apartment again for next year after only two days stay. We couldn’t fault anything and the new lift is brilliant especially for transporting the luggage - ample car parking space at the back which is right outside the lift door

• "What a great apartment with a fabulous sea view."

  Very clean and well presented. Beds are very comfy with great pillows. Plenty of storage for clothing too. Lovely touch having a cream tea to welcome us and fresh flowers in the vase. Tea and coffee supplied with milk too. We were not able to benefit from the outdoor furniture but another great asset to this property. Another asset to the property was a lift. We had a problem with this on our stay but this was remedied very quickly and the owner checked in with us regarding this too. Parking to the property was ideal and spacious. I personally didn’t like reversing out of the space onto the road. We would highly recommend this property and the surrounding area.

  Perfect location for just relaxing or for discovering the wonderful history of the area. The addition of a lift made it accessible for a couple of less-than-able-bodied visitors for a week of rest and recuperation. Thank you Geoff for the lovely cream tea and helpful support.

• "What a lovely property!"

  Lovely touches on arrival, views are amazing. Comfortable and warm. Everything you would ever need. Hosts even called to check on an issue out of their hands to apologise. Brilliant! We would love to return. Would recommend the Kings Arms for food (need to book) and following St Michael’s Mount on social media due to weather closures. Had a fantastic holiday. Thank you so much.

• "We have just returned from a fabulous week at Higher Mount View."

  Despite the weather being mainly wet and windy, we had a wonderful time. The view from the property is outstandingly beautiful and constantly changing. The cleaner did an amazing job as it was spotless, well appointed with everything you could possibly need. It is perfectly situated to explore Cornwall as well as the beautiful village of Marazion. From the moment we arrived, with a warm welcome of fresh flowers, a cream tea in the fridge, milk, tea and coffee, we knew it would be difficult to leave at the end of our holiday.

• "Stunning property with the most perfect sea view ."

  We spent a lot of time sitting with a cuppa looking at the sea and St Michael’s mount . Facilities in the flat really good with comfy beds , great Kitchen and lounge area . A lot of stairs to the property so this is the only fal back for anyone with mobility problems . Within easy access of the limited facilities in Marazion there are some better shops a short drive or bus ride away in and on the way to Penzance . We have stayed in Marazion a lot but this property is by far the best because of the views .

You may have noticed the work that has been carried out on the side of the house, this is to facilitate a new lift which will be fully functional from the end of November this year. • "We stayed at this property back in May."

  We couldn't fault the views and was the main reason why we chose this property. The biggest let down was the building work going on at the time which we were informed of but not in an accurate way. Builders were on site drilling from 8am in the morning and standing on our balcony looking at us, so that put a stop to being able to use the balcony during the day. We were advised that the building work would not impact the property in any way which was not true. We also has issued with wi-fi and parking. Having made contact after our holiday with full details, we were told the owner had no interest in the feedback and was not willing to compensate us in any way. Due to this short sighted view and lack of interest in the customer experience, we would not return to this property or recommend it to anyone.

• "Amazing apartment."

  We had a fantastic New Year, drinking wine and watching the uninterrupted views of the colourful St Michaels mount, and distant fireworks over Penzance and Newlyn from the fantastic balcony. Very well equipped throughout. Even a large teapot!!! Thank you. We will return.

• "Delighted with the apartment and facilities."

  Views over the bay were outstanding. We fully recommend. There was no teapot and we would have appreciated having one. The poor state of the front of Camelot House is a detraction, and was an initial shock. We fully understand it is a jointly owned area, but improvement is necessary.

  We are so glad you enjoyed your stay and take on board your suggestions, a teapot will soon be in the cupboard. After Christmas extensive work is being undertaken to add a lift to the right hand side of the property, which will service both Mount View and Higher Mount View. In addition we will be having the car park surfaced with tarmac. We don’t own the ground floor flat, but hope by creating our own direct entrance via the new lift this will give a greater impression on arrival.   The stairs are are hard work for oldies like us but the views make up for it. Parking on site is a nice bonus. We would strongly recommend Higher Mount View.

• "The location couldn’t be better and the views are fantastic, we have been before and would book again."

  That being said, the apartment could do with updating and some attention. Cleaning needs to be more thorough, the mirrors in the bedroom were not clean, dropped something and happened to look under the sofa and that’s not been done recently (urgh), the blind in the twin room is broken & useless as a means of keeping light out as are the curtains in the main bedroom. The duvets are incredibly heavy and in the summer in a top floor apartment could REALLY do with being much lighter. The sofas are as flat as a pancake! Lots of things could do with replacing now, the heated towel rail is a bit grim, missing bit of flooring in bathroom, wardrobe doors that don’t close. Overall we would return simply because of the location but a bit of updating is overdue.

• "We know the area well and we’re pleased to secure this apartment so near the beach and have the best views towards Mount St Michael."

  The place was well equipped,the linen and towels of hotel standards.Furniture was good quality.There was so much going on due to G7 preparations that seated on the small balcony we were well entertained.Marizion has everything one could wish,including Shops,galleries,restaurant,pubs.We recommend the small Castle rock cafe just 100 yards from the house and also the fish and chip shop opposite.If there had been better blackout curtains in the bedroom especially the twin room it would have been a five star review.Plus be aware there are many steps to the top apartment.Wiuld book again in a heartbeat.Thank you Sykes.

• "In our opinion it's worth staying at "Higher Mount View" just for the uninterrupted view of St Michael's Mount and Mount's Bay alone."

  We spent many an hour on the balcony watching the world go by this last week. We personally feel that the accommodation has everything thing that you would be likely to need. As for us we do not have anything negative to say about the property. Nice touch to have scones, milk and flowers on arrival. Also nice to see the information booklet has been updated. We would particularly like to say a big heart felt thank you to the owners for agreeing to our request which made our stay at "Higher Mount View" very special this year. For that we are immensely grateful. All in all. We cannot recommend "Higher Mount View" highly enough, and with a fair wind and a bit of luck we'll be able to go back again soon. Kernow bys Vyken!

  Only downside was that there was no washing machine. Would have preferred one in place of the dish washer. Apartment was very clean, Hayley does a great job. Nice to find a bottle of milk in the fridge and a cream tea upon arrival.

• "Marazion is a lovely resort, and the apartment was exactly what we were expecting."

  It was clean and roomy for the two of us. Parking wasn't an issue either, having called in advance following a review left by someone who stayed before us who'd experienced difficulties. The view from the balcony was spectacular. We had a vase of flowers and some scones and cream left for us on arrival, which was a nice touch. In your specification about the apartments facilities, I would suggest adding that there is an iron and ironing board available. It would have been helpful to also have had a baking tray and bedside lamps too.

• "Although this property is supposed to have a designated parking space, we arrived to find the space occupied, which is not a nice experience after driving 250 miles."

  We used the space for the cottage next door to unload and then had to find an alternative facility before the owner of that cottage returned. Considering that the property is on the second floor, unloading in a hurry after a long drive was not a good beginning to our holiday. We established that the rogue parking was from the ground floor occupants, who seem to think that they have a right to park in any space available for days on end. Their car finally moved on Wednesday so that we could utilise the allocated space but it returned when we went out for the day. This is not good enough and left us with an uneasy feeling each day as we did not know where we would be able to park on our return to the property.

• "We have stayed here before, and absolutely love the view, the flat, having parking, and the convenience of it."

  I needed a holiday, and slept a lot in the very comfortable bed. To be able to sit in bed, or in the living room with the sea just outside the window is wonderful. A few little niggles! 1. In our old age we had difficulty with the television! We spent the week watching ITV or nothing! 2. I really like to have a bedside light! ( solved at the car boot sale....for £1!) 3. My husband prefers a fairly upright chair, and struggles to get up from squashy settees! Solved by using one of the chairs off the balcony! 4. It was disappointingly cloudy and cold! But we did have a few sunny periods. At least we could stay in the warm, and watch others getting cold and wind blown!

We were not disappointed; it met all our expectations; It is ideally situated a minute stroll from the Godolphin arms that boasts unrivalled views of the Mount. I have news for them, grab a bottle of wine and sit on the balcony at Higher Mount View; now that is a perfect and exclusive view.

• "We loved this holiday so much we have booked again for next year's half term already."

  Everything as it describes especially the view. Lovely and warm and I now miss hearing the waves from our bed at home . Perfect The lounge sofa the (sofa bed one) was a little worn and uncomfortable now but used the other sofa more which was not a problem . As you enter Camelot house it looks a little worn down and dark but as soon as you see the views from up the stairs and in the flat you forgive this. Can't wait to return .
