  • "A very basic bungalow, in a good location with parking."

We've been here many times. There is a welcom pack, it has dishwasher tablets in it, which is pointless as there is no dishwasher! The cleanliness and maintenance could be better. The bathroom had black mould on the grout and around the bath taps, the sink plug was broken, the toilet seat was still broken, we had reported it the last time we stayed. The blind over the patio doors was still broken too. The floors could do with a good mopping. There was dirty crockery in the cupboards.

  • "The property is in a wonderful position and very comfortable with wide sea views of the Mount and bay."

We have stayed here several times and would stay again. A few tweeks would help. The blind in lounge is broken making opening almost impossible. The Bathroom needs to be upgraded, to have the tiles surrounding the bath cleaned of mould and re grouted , shower screen has green mould growing in the strip and the mould on ceiling removed and painted. Also there is still no towel rail fitted. I was surprised that there was no grater or hairdryer in the property despite several reviews requesting this. And more cutlery would certainly help. If the owner would address these issues it would certainly enhance your stay.

Here. Cottage was cosy and warm which was just as well given that the weather was atrocious. Just a couple of things the internet went down after a couple of days which was annoying . We had a smartphone but it.meant we had to use all our own data. The key safe outside was hard to open, it was like the lug had broken off. The blinds in the patio door didn't close , but all in all we enjoyed it and would gladly return.

Fabulous welcome pack on arrival. Perfect location for daily walk into Penzance. Couple issues regarding the property- The blind controller rod on the patio blinds is still broken and looking at the previous reviews this was listed as a fault months ago. Not enough knifes as in sharp cutting knives, what there are at Seabreeze are blunt, we had to go to Morrisons on Christmas eve to buy a knife sharpener. TV system is out of date, this day and age there should be s smart TV at Seabreeze.

  • "Alongside the South West Coastal Path with stunning views of Mount’s Bay and St Michael’s Mount the Sea Shore Cottages have much to recommend them."

A row of modern bungalows built on the land once occupied by Marazion Station, we stayed in Sea Breeze, a one bedroom, one bathroom bungalow with a spacious open plan living area. The double bed was comfortable and the bedroom had ample drawer and hanging space. The bathroom had a shower over the bath which was a real bonus because my wife likes baths and I like showers. The living area was equipped with a tv, sofa, rickety table and four chairs and a kitchen area with plenty of cupboards and drawers. So far, so good, but nothing is ever perfect. Two hand and two bath towels were supplied, but there is nowhere to put them. There are two hooks on the back of the bathroom door but a couple of towel rails would have been most helpful. While there are plenty of cupboards and drawers in the kitchen area, they are mostly empty because the kitchen is minimally equipped. True there are sufficient knives and forks but the three knives for cutting were blunt. It was a nice surprise to find a coffee maker, but because we didn’t know the make we were unable to bring the correct capsules. The kettle lid had broken at some time and had been glued down rather than being replaced. The microwave was the only piece of equipment with instructions. This was a real problem when we discovered the symbols on the oven had worn off so operation relied on guesswork. There was a similar problem with the tv. There were three remotes and a tv and a DVD player. We never discovered the purpose for the third remote. The only remote that seemed to control the tv had many of the symbols etc warn away which was another challenge. The plate of the iron provided was filthy and there were cobwebs hanging in the bungalow when we arrived. In addition, the whole bungalow could do with being decorated In all, much of the equipment in the bungalow needed replacing or upgrading. Cleaning equipment was stored in a green shed about 100 years away at the other end of the site. Other than sweeping brushes there was nothing in the bungalow. We made do with what was there. There should have been replacement bin bags under the sink but there was none, so we couldn’t empty the bin. These bungalows are in an unique location with stunning views. There is so much to recommend our accommodation, but it is let down by being poorly equipped. How frustrating. What a shame!

The lack of wi-fi was a surprise although when I checked, it isn't mentioned in the description but in 2021 it's not the sort of thing I thought I needed to check ! The cottage itself is as described and functional but there's a serious issue with the sliding patio doors. It was a daily battle to open and close them and these need urgent attention. It really wasn't good enough that these were almost unusable and clearly they have been in this condition for a while. In this day and age everywhere needs WiFi and because of the present Covid 19 pandemic, every tourist attraction had to be booked ONLINE !! Cleanliness of the cottage. When we arrived the first thing that hit us was the filthy Windows. Not appealing when you just arrive. We are aware that the outside cannot be helped because of the sea spray etc, but the inside were worse than the outside. We took photos of cobwebs on the frames of the Windows, if you wish to see them. There was also cobwebs on the inside of the front door. The bin in the bathroom was rusted all on the lid. Not nice to see when it can so easily be replaced. A green plastic tumbler was filthy with what looked like toothpaste?? I also have photos of that. Is there not a change of sheets/ towels for the second week ? The picture in the brochure does nothing tell you that when you are sitting down in the lounge, all you see is a brick wall. No beach.
