• "Rented for my daughter and grandchildren as they could not stay with us on this occasion ( we only live over the road)."

  They were very happy with the spacious and well-equipped kitchen, the size of the rooms and the cleanliness. Glorious views of the sunrise and a quick walk down to the harbour for the children to go crabbing...their favourite occupation. They said they would be very happy to stay there again.

• "This lovely house was so cosy and very well equipped."

  The location is perfect, and we also enjoyed reading a book, starting a puzzle that was in the house. We could leave our bikes in the courtyard, and it was very quiet around us. We'd love to return.

• "Beautiful bungalow."

  Very comfortable and lovely views. The field next to it is great for the dog and the coastal walk into Mevagissey is fine just steep coming back up the road way. Not a problem for us but might be for people with walking difficulties. The owners do inform you of this beforehand and the car park in Mevagissey is free after 4pm which was very helpful to be told not sure about summer time though. Lovely big kitchen for us to cook and table extends. Beds are comfortable. Thank you for the lovely goodies that were left, much appreciated.

• "We had a fabulous stay, the house is very warm, homely and comfortable we found the kitchen to be very well equipped."

  The beds were all extremely comfortable, the garden was great and the views were marvellous. I would recommend this property for families, couples or friends with dogs. The proximity to the coastal path, beach, a variety of walks and other attractions and Mevigissey was excellent. For us the only way it could be improved is by having a smart TV and a dishwasher. We would love to stay again!

• "We had a wonderful stay at the Waverley."

  The view from the front of the house is absolutely brilliant and we watched sunrises whilst enjoying our morning cuppas. The facilities at the Waverley make it just like being at home the back entrance was really good for ensuring the dog didn't walk any dirt through the house.

• "The location and cleanliness of the property was excellent."

  Stairs to upper bedroom quite steep and narrow. The mattress on double bed downstairs could have been better. Also no usb charging facilities or plugs and no hairdryer. Everything else we needed was provided. Thank you for the welcome pack. Excellent location for views and walking our dog and easy parking. We enjoyed our short stay very much.

• "Lovely bright, clean, well equipped bungalow with fabulous sea views."

  Grassy play area opposite perfect for dogs and ball throwing. Harbour and village with all the welcoming pubs and eateries, not far away, though be prepared for steep climb back up. Plenty of steps down to nearest dog friendly beach, Polstreath too! All good cardio exercise to counteract too many pasties (Mary’s in harbour fab). Had a bit of problem finding parking space on arrival on Saturday but after that fine. Very lucky with weather on our first (and hopefully not last) visit to Mevagissey.

• "A beautiful, clean and well-equipped bungalow overlooking St Austell Bay."

  We have stayed here many times with our dog and have already booked again for 2025. Waverley has everything you need. There is a large field across the road and easy access to the South Coast path and Mevagissey harbour. Thank you for all the welcome gifts that are much appreciated. This is one of the best properties we have stayed in.

• "We had a lovely stay at Waverley!"

  Property is situated in a perfect location, beautiful seaview, easy access to the town and direct access to SW coast path. Parking outside the house is good. House is cosy, welcoming and very tastefully decorated. It was also decorated for Christmas which was a nice touch too. Very well equipped kitchen, we cooked our Xmas dinner no problem. Owner checked in with us to make sure everything was ok. We fed back a couple of minor maintenance issues separately. It was great that we could bring our dogs too, there is a perfect green out the front to give them a quick run around. I highly recommend Waverley- I would definitely stay there again, but maybe next time in the summer!

  The property was even better than we expected, the view from the upstairs bedroom and the lovely outside space were both real highlights for us. We would highly recommend this property, as a family of 5 we didn't once feel on top of each other, which is quite common in Cornwall.

• "A very clean, well furnished and comfortable property with good sized bedrooms."

  For three adults and a dog, it was perfect. The views from the two double bedrooms and the lounge out over the sea were wonderful. The kitchen is well equipped, but bring your own herbs and spices. For those with dogs, the back garden is small, but completely enclosed and the grassy area opposite great for more of a run and leads to the coastal path. Although there is no designated parking, we did not have a problem. We all had a great time and would recommend it.

• "Lovely views out to sea from both the lounge and main bedroom upstairs."

  The secluded court yard is great for washing and drying down your dog before getting into the property via the kitchen. The walk to Mevagissey harbour is steep but only takes 10 minutes and is worth it to enjoy the shops, restaurants and fishing boats. It is also a great central location for visiting other parts of Cornwall, such as, The Lost Gardens of Heligan which only takes 5 minutes by car, or, a walk down the coastal path which is only a few meters away.
