Just as good as the first. Lovely cottage with everything you need for a stay, from toiletries to a small hamper to tin foil and cling film. You don’t need to bring much from home. Excellent hosts. Comfy bed. Superbly clean. Access to washing machine if you need it. Set in a very quiet area. 20 minute drive to the coast for some superb walks. Hosts Lisa and Felix are very welcoming. They sent us the guest information pack before hand which was very helpful as well as offering to make any table bookings. We were able to arrange a food shop to be delivered on our arrival day as well. Would definitely recommend a stay and we plan to return next year.

  • "The Cottage was clean and comfortable also had items I didn’t expect to be there for our comfort, the garden was lovely for my dogs ,enough room for them to play and relax ,beautiful views from the garden whilst sitting with our morning cup of tea ,the hosts were very nice too ,welcoming on our arrival and proved to be the same during our time at whitsand."

I’m sorry but I have one negative that we weren’t aware of and that is ,the area where we were is not suitable for disabled people, I’d have mobility issues and although I can walk with sticks a short way, the area surrounding is very steep ,I would have liked to walk my dogs each day without having to drive to find somewhere flat, which of course I had to do ,this isn’t a reflection on the Cottage, I think perhaps you should make sure on your website that the areas surrounding your cottages are informative for people with mobility issues ,this problem did mar the relaxing holiday I wanted as I wanted to hang my car keys up ,other than this the Cottage is perfect for a quiet holiday.

  • "Excellent cottage and a friendly welcome."

The human and dog welcome packs were above and beyond and much appreciated. The cottage was clean, light and airy and had an enclosed garden - perfect for the dog. The facilities were good and location was central to the areas we wanted to explore. The local pub (the Rod and Line) was also friendly and served good food. The only downside was the abundance of flies. There was no obvious source (bad smells for instance) but the presence of fly spray and a electric bug zapper suggests we weren't the first to have this issue. It didn't detract much from our stay though - it just meant we had to keep the bedroom door and window shut as much as possible. Overall - would definitely recommend.

The cottage is lovely and we enjoyed sitting in the garden looking over the fields into the distance. The walk to the pub is lovely if you have the weather and is just enough to walk off the amazing food they serve. Just be careful of the traffic, and when we realised we forgot a torch for the walk back, we found one in the cottage. We couldn't have wished for a nicer place to stay during our week in Cornwall and will definitely look to book again in the future.
