Accommodation was perfect for our needs and the bed was very comfy. We were lucky with the weather and having breakfast outside was delightful. St Just is a friendly place with great pubs and shops. We'd love to return one day, thanks so much x

  • "Pippa's Place is really a little gem!"

We were so comfortable and cosy, wish we had had a few more days there than we did! It is so lovely decorated, well equipped and just right for a couple. The walk into St Just is on the doorstep, so easy to get to through all the little cut throughs! Good fun finding them all out, even though we know St Just quite well, as we have family quite nearby, who we were visiting. Just one teeny-tiny comment, there was no info about anything in the cottage, such as working appliances etc. We did not know what to do on leaving, such as getting rid of rubbish, recycling, stripping beds etc. It would help if this info was available. Other than that, we would not hesitate to stay here at Pippa's Place when we are next down in St Just.

Only thing I can say negative is the listing needs to be corrected as it says pet friendly in places and not in others. We took out two dogs and they enjoyed their stay too.

The owners were very friendly but had the perfect amount of privacy. There was a welcome pack for the dogs which went down very well. The facilities are great, it had everything we needed and we 100% recommend. St Just is also a great base to get to most places you would want to visit whilst in Cornwall.

It was scrupulously clean, and nicely decorated. Our dog was made very welcome with a dog friendly pack. There was milk in the fridge, tea and coffee and some delicious biscuits to go with it. The owners who were very pleasant lived next door and said to let us know if we needed anything which we didn’t as everything was included. St Just is a very friendly village, several places to eat out, take a ways, and many varied individual shops. It’s ideally situated to visit many popular tourist places. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

  • "We had a fabulous holiday and St."

Just is a lovely place in a great location. The scenic drives certainly made travel enjoyable. Pippa's place is a lovely annex attached to the owners property. Initially we thought this might feel too close for us, we wondered if we would feel watched/looked over but this isn't the case at all. June and Nigel are lovely and very welcoming. They gave us some great tips on where to walk the dogs in the evening and we got to see some beautiful sunsets across the fields. The doggy hamper was a beautiful touch, they thoroughly enjoyed the treats left for them. The biscuits for us humans and the milk for a cup of tea were greatly appreciated after a very long drive too. We could see great care, love and attention has been given to Pippa's place. It felt homely and welcoming. Parking is an added bonus - we never had any problems parking, which is exactly what we need after a long day exploring. It wasn't warm enough for us to enjoy the small garden area but the flowers being potted were beautiful. We also recommend the Kings Arms pub - very friendly and LOVE dogs. We'd definitely return to Pippa's place.

The accomodation is ideal and to be honest the pictures don't do it justice. It has eveything you would need and more. Its a couple of minute walk into the square, and about 10 min drive to Penzance, it was a fantastic base for visiting local areas (Lands End, St Ives, Marazion, Mousehole, Penzance) We will definitely be back!!

Serve the fruits of your labour at the dining table, complimented with a bottle of wine as you toast to a much-needed break.

Retire to the double bedroom to catch your rest, complete with an en-suite shower where you can prepare for the day.

Start your morning with a fresh coffee within the courtyard, before venturing into the town centre and sampling some Cornish pasties from Warrens Bakery.

Get to know your surroundings better as amble down to Nanquidno Cove, a popular spot for bird watching, surfing and spectacular sunsets, before continuing to follow the path along the tall granite cliffs to Gwenver Beach, Sennen Cove and Land’s End or head towards Cape Cornwall and St Just where you will find good pubs, cafes and delicatessens as well as several art galleries, including Kurt Jackson's Jackson Foundation.

Be sure to pack your bucket and spade and head for the mesmerising beaches at St Ives and Sennen and the landmark attractions at iconic Land's End, the island topped castle of St Michael's Mount and The Minack, Cornwall's famous open-air cliff-top theatre, are all just a short drive.

After embarking on a day’s adventures, return to the peace and tranquillity of Pippas Place, recharging yourself for more tomorrow.

About the location

ST JUST

Penzance 7.2 miles; St Ives 12.9 miles.

St Just is the nearest town to Land’s End and is situated approximately eight miles west of Penzance. The town itself is an ancient settlement that has a strong mining history and there are several monuments and prehistoric antiquities to visit including the Bronze Age settlement at Cape Cornwall. St Just is ideally located for visitors to explore the far west of Cornwall as it is situated on the edge of the moors and close to the beautiful north coast. In the centre of the town is Plain-an-Gwarry, a theatre used for miracle plays in medieval times, and in more recent times for the Lafrowda Festival.
