• "We had a fantastic week long holiday in the house in Newquay."

  Amazing location with a 5 minute walk into town and beaches. The house was well equipped especially the kitchen which had ample cutlery and plates etc for a large family. Would definitely return on next visit to Newquay. Star recommendation ... the Pavilion Bakery in town has fantastic sourdough and coffee!

  So pleased you all had a great time in Newquay and loved your stay at our house. Our location we also feel is second to none as the town and sandy beaches are all within easy walking distance, and we are fortunate to have plenty of parking space at our property. We work hard to make sure that 5 Quay Court has every thing in the property to make our guests stay a happy home and a relaxing stress free stay, so thank you for recognising this. Yes we also agree that The Pavilion bakery is a fantastic place for a coffee and sourdoughs. We look forward to your next stay at 5 Quay Court and enjoying it all over again soon. • "Comfortable and well equipped with great views and excellent parking."

  Great location for accessing the town with Towan / Great Western beach 5 mins walk away and Fistral beach 10 mins walk away. The showers were fabulous (excellent water pressure). It would’ve been out of our budget but we got a late deal. The roof terrace and blinds at the back of the house need a bit of TLC. The wi-fi was rather slow which made the smart TV tedious to use but Freeview channels OK. Dogs seem to be tolerated rather than accepted / welcomed with a list of things dogs can’t do and some unsuitable furnishings.

  We're really pleased that you and your party had a great stay at 5 Quay Court , and that everything was catered for in the property for your holiday. We continually go to great lengths to ensure that items are updated where needed, so that guests do not have to think of anything during their stay. Parking is never an issue with 2 car parking spaces provided, and as you've pointed out the property is within walking distance of several fantastic beaches and the town centre. We agree that showers are an important part of any holiday, and we're fortunate to have 3 fully equipped lovely bathrooms to use. The blinds are being replaced shortly for an alternative better option. We have never had an issue with the the speed of wi-fi , in fact guests have messaged to say that it works very well. So we are wondering if this was being used correctly. Dogs are more than welcome and we have our own dog who visits with us regularly. We have to respect our neighbours and that's why we suggest places for owners to take their dogs for exercising and toileting purposes. We would love you to see you and your party back to visit Newquay and enjoy the fantastic views and all that Newquay and Cornwall have to offer. Thanks Simon Property Owner

• "Beautiful property in a great location."

  The property has everything you would need and more. It’s about a 5/10 min walk from the centre of town (there’s quite a big hill down to town so the walk back up probably isn’t ideal for anyone with mobility problems, however it was fine for our party who ranged from mid 60’s to young teens. There were scones, cream, tea bags and milk for us on arrival which were a pleasant surprise for us after a 7 hour journey. The weather wasn’t great whilst we were there so we didn’t get to make the most of the roof top terrace but the views from the lounge are equally amazing. The guests prior to us had reported a drip on the tap and the owner got no in touch to see if he could send someone to have a look just to check it out. This worked around our plans and the plumber was in and out without disturbing our holiday which the reassurance there wasn’t a major issue. Would certainly recommend, everyone in our party commented on how beautiful the properly and views were.

• "We stayed at 5 Quay Court and had a wonderful week!"

  The property was clean and well situated for visiting the many beaches. Everything you could need was provided down to tubs for picnic bits! The rooftop terrace was the best place for stunning views! Great communication! We will be back!

We're so fortunate to be within walking distance to the town and it's amenities, and all the fantastic beaches.   The location is perfect for accessing beaches , shops and town facilities and the views are stunning. The house is comfortable and so well equipped. We had a really brilliant time even though the weather was challenging.

• "What a great property."

  We had mixed weather but the fantastic view from the first floor balcony made this so much more bare able. The property suited all 6 of the party and we had everything we needed for our stay, it is located within walking distance of all the beaches, shopping and restaurants, the first time I got in the car was to come home making it such a relaxing experience.

• "Really lovely house in a quiet but very convenient location just 5 minutes walk from town and a couple of minutes walk to the nearest beach."

  We loved the roof terrace and great views over Newquay and out to sea from the lounge veranda.The house was well equipped with everything you might need for your stay,very comfortable beds and great showers.Would have absolutely no qualms about booking again.

  We're so pleased that you and the family loved your stay at 5 Quay Court. We're fortunate to be so close to all the amenities, and have such outstanding sandy beaches on our doorstep. Along with having two parking spaces directly at the front of our property, which is rare in Newquay. We constantly update the property and think about our guests in regards to what their needs are to ensure that they are catered for in every way possible. Beds are extremely important to us and we have made sure that no expense was spared on these, thanks for recognising this Gary.   The property is situated close enough to walk down to the beach and town. Newquay was a great base to travel around to various parts of Cornwall.

• "My husband, myself and teenage children have just enjoyed a fabulous week in Newquay at 5 Quay Court."

  It was exactly as described and pictured. The house was really warm and comfortable with great facilities and provided a great space to relax as a family whilst also providing great individual space. Unfortunately due to the weather we were unable to make the most of the roof terrace but really appreciated the amazing views from the balcony off the lounge. We thankfully had comfortable camping chairs with us as which we used on the balcony and sat on every day to enjoy the views over Newquay and far reaching views over the coast and sea. It would have been nice to have had a couple of chairs provided on the balcony and also a table and chairs on the terrace outside the ground floor double room to make the most of the outside space. We would definitely visit again.

• "Loved it. Perfect spacious 4 story house."

  Modern, clean, great facilities and showers. Room for everything including wetsuits and surf boards. Comfy beds, well equipped kitchen, the lounge with balcony has gorgeous views. We used the roof top terrace too, with equally gorgeous views. Space for everyone, important with kids and teens! Wi fi, tvs etc. Really short walk into town (The Fort is an excellent family pub with great views, food and service) and the property is also walking distance to the stunning beaches of Towan, Fistral and Lusty Glaze. If you have a scooter / skateboarder/ bmx er in the family, Concrete Waves is just around the corner. Close to the beautiful harbour too where teens love to jump into at high tide! Newquay really is the best family holiday destination. 5 quay court just lovely. Heather.
