Sustonica, the first global sustainability standard for holiday lets.
Our aim is to create lasting holiday memories and we intend to do so both responsibly and sustainably.
To deliver on this we've set out a number of environmental and social pledges which help to focus our efforts;
you can read more about them in our Impact Report.
This is why we've partnered with Sustonica, the first global certification for holiday lets,
to support our owners to be more sustainable.
The Sustonica certification focuses on four key areas: energy conservation, water conservation,
waste reduction and promoting inclusiveness. They are on a mission to become the most widely
recognised sustainability standard for holiday rentals and a catalyst to reduce emissions of holiday
lets and influence guests to reduce their own household consumption too.
Properties that display the Sustonica badge have successfully passed the criteria,
which align with the UN Sustainable Development Goals and the Global Sustainable Tourism Council standards,
and their owner has made a commitment to look after our planet as well as you.

"This was our second time staying at this property as we loved it so much last year that we knew it would be the perfect place to stay once again."
The location is amazing for Fistral Beach and has the most stunning view of the sea / beach. The weather wasn't so kind to us this year but still managed to see a breathtaking sunrise and a gorgeous sunset in the area. The property has been well looked after and kept in great condition. I remember being impressed at the decor last year and how everything is 'Cornwall-themed' even down to the colour-scheme of the dinner plates. It really is a great place to stay if you love Cornwall as much as we do and especially for the Fistral Beach area and easy access into Newquay too. I'm sure we'll be back again in future. Thank you for a lovely stay.

"A wonderful property."
Well equipped, perfect views, great location. Very comfortable and clean. A beautiful touch to receive a welcome package of scones, jam, clotted cream and milk. Thank you.
I would like to point out that the internal stairs and landing to the property are really dirty. Spilt coffee outside the apartment door.
This was my first impression and I was worried the apartment woukd be as bad.
But it wasn’t, it was beautiful.

This was our second time at Fistral Surf. We like that it’s outside the town centre but a 10 min walk to Fistral Beach and 25 mins to the main Fistral Beach restaurants and shops. The outdoor pool is great and not too busy. Lots of lovely local beaches within 20 mins drive.

"This was such a great place to stay."
Loved being near the beach. Loved having access to the swimming pool. Such a beautiful part of the world and wow what amazing views from the accomodation. I usually feel homesick when away from home but this was perhaps the only time that I have been so very happy that I didn't miss home at all. So much thought has gone into making this a lovely place to stay - even down to the decor, pictures on the walls and the colour of the plates - all Cornish colours and themes and so very perfect. Thank you so much for such a lovely stay. The only slight issue was not with the property but with the booking process via Sykes as I asked a live chat question and during this short time that I was chatting with them, they pushed the price of the property up and then when I tried to go back to my original booking, they had stopped that working - so that I had to go through the new link they set up. It made me wonder if the chat person gets a cut of commission on that so I was a bit annoyed that it pushed the price up a bit and they refused to put it back to the original price I was in the process of booking it for. They said it is because it is live pricing and that it had gone up because both they and me were looking at it at the same time. Just seemed a bit unfair and a bit silly really that they couldn't do anything about that. The property itself we are totally in love with and would love to visit again. Thank you to the accomodation owners for such a fabulous stay and for having such a comfortable property to stay in.

The pool is brilliant as well. Owners were very welcoming and really helpful. We have two young kids so a smart tv would’ve helped with entertaining them in the evening. We would highly recommend Fistral Surf and would certainly think about booking here again.

Walking distance to Fistral beach ( it is a steep walk back ). Surf lessons / hire available down the road. The Fern Pit cafe is definitely worth visiting for crabbing and paddle boarding.
Disappointingly on arrival the toilet was not working properly and took until Wednesday to be fixed.
Pool access code change not received.

"Absolutely amazing property."
The views of Fistral Beach are second to none. I enjoyed sitting in the window watching the surfers in all weather and taking the short walk down to the sand. The parking is convenient and the flat is well equipped with everything you need for your stay. The pool is a lovely addition and a great place to chill. The town centre is an easy walk away. All round perfect venue for your Newquay holiday.

"Fistral Surf is on the edge of Newquay, but that is what we loved about it."
It was great to go for walks along the coastal path and experience the Cornish seaside so close by. The view is wonderful from the flat, although it would have been nice to have a cleaner window or a way to clean the window ourselves as we appreciate it is probably hard to keep it clean being so close to the coast.
The accommodations were very comfortable and quiet, and we slept well. We would definitely stay here again.
