  • "We had a nice holiday but spoilt by the inability to heat the house."

Instructions for the various facilities would be a real plus. We were freezing.

Hi I am so sorry about this there is a Google nest heating thermostat which is easy to use you just turn the dial to the required temp, plus I can put the heating on remotley, if you get in contact and have any issues. There is also a mega log burner at the proerty which can heat the whole house ther are logs at logs at Logs n Cole and Texaco in a 5 min drive. So most guest have been toasty - next time just give me a shout and I can resove. Kindest Paul (owner) Property Owner

  • "We had a lovely week in this cottage the location was perfect close enough to walk to zoo and catch road train into Newquay."

Close to loads of beaches. The house was generally clean but both bathrooms are tired and had signs of mould especially main bathroom. The garden furniture was also tired and not really useable. The garden was fab and children loved playing in it. The property just needs some updating

We take on board your comments and are revamping the bathrooms and Garden furniture. We have also a new cleaning team to resolve any mould isssues. Kindest Paul (owner) Property Owner

  • "We loved the house but I’m afraid the garden wasn’t fit for purpose broken furniture left on the lawn, broken plant pots dead flowers patio was full of stuff and also needed weeding."

wasn’t dog friendly as stated so we had to block off the bottom garden to stop our dog from escaping over the back wall same to the side of the house. the slide couldn’t be used as it was overgrown with weeds. Side of the house rubbish had been left so bottle bin was full from last guest which we did leave out to be collected when we left. Unsafe for children with it being on a split level just generally overgrown and wood etc to left on the bottom lawn I have taken videos if the owner would like to see them as I’m not sure how often he gets to visit his property with travelling for work the garden would be perfect if done to a good standard.

  • "We all had a lovely stay here, house was clean and comfortable, we took our newborn grandson and it was perfect for him too."

Plenty of cooking equipment and to be honest everything we needed was provided. The owner sent an email providing loads more information which was helpful. The location was perfect, lots to do around the area. The only thing I could pick at would be the fact previous guests left dog mess in bags out the back in a plant pot, but this is not the owners fault. We would definitely return and recommend this house to everyone.

The garden was an absolute mess, broken glass everywhere which is not what you want when you have a dog could of ended badly the mattresses were disgusting black mould in most of the bedrooms the chair legs give away when my daughter sat in the chair, and nearly went through the glass table overall was very disappointed with the property it was listed with sky TV which did not have and said parking for four cars which we struggle to get to on

Thank you for highlighting these issues during your stay at Pasadena. I rely on my cleaning staff to report any issues and no other guest had made them aware previously of any problems so we appreciate you making us aware. We have now hired new cleaners who will be addressing everything to ensure there will be no problems for any other guests going forward. We apologise for the error with the Sky TV, We hope this didn't inconvenience your stay too much and that you were able to make use of the smart function and freeview that is supplied. Regarding the parking we have had 4 small cars park there previously but can appreciate it might be a tight squeeze, we have updated our information, but there is road side parking available for other guests We apologise for the issues during your stay but are very thankful you have let us know so we can make sure everyone can have the best stay possible with us at Pasadena. We do wished you would have contacted us during your stay as we could have had someone attend for you, but we do hope overall you enjoyed your time away. Property Owner

  • "Pasadena is in a great location with fantastic views."

The area is quiet but within easy reach of shops, bars, restaurants and beaches. We had a few issues, but we contacted the owner direct and these were resolved. It was nice to have the benefit of a brand new BBQ and pans. Perhaps the removal of some of the owners personal items would help make this a perfect holiday home.

  • "The house was so lovely."

Very comfortable beds and very clean. lovely living space. The negatives, or room for improvement were: the coffee maker was broken and no plunger in the house. limited pans and plates. Only dinner plates. There was no outside bbq, surely this is a normal thing to expect? The sheds , garage and sun house were locked. All the cushions for the out door furniture were locked away. You should not advertise the sun house as a thing. It was locked and not accessible. The garden was very over grown and unkempt. The lawn hadn’t been mowed for three weeks at least. The grass was over one feet high. We couldn’t use the garden .
