  • "Really enjoyed our stay at trelydarth."

Its so central so not far to most of the main places to visit in Cornwall. The kitchen was super equipped it even had a slow cooker !! Lots of kids safe cutlery and plates and cups l. The beds were super comfy. The baby room and kids room were so well thought out. Our kids loved it. The welcome package was an absolute life saver after a 6 hour drive with 3 small children we were desperate for a Nice cup of tea when we got in and the kiddos loved the biscuits and some jam on toast. The only downside was the slate chipping stone drive way . That was mainly a downside for the children. Lots of tripping over. But there is a grass lawn at the front of the house they could play on. Due to being surrounded by farmland flies loved hanging out in the kitchen. But we just bought some fly strips and the problem was sorted. That's not a criticism just a helpful tip I suppose. All in all we enjoyed our stay at trelydarth and will definitely plan on staying there again .

We had a great time, the property is one of the best we have stayed in, equipped to the highest standard, it is spacious, comfortable and the BBQ and decking got lots of use Group of 8 , 1 youngster and 2 babies in prams and we had loads of room, very spacious can't praise it enough Thank you for a nice holiday

  • "The property was damp, cold and falling apart, the doors rattled at the slightest breeze and the windows are in need of replacing, the outside for the most part is bland with a garden thats not pleasing to the eye but adequate for dogs to run on."

The decking is an icerink when wet. The driveway is an accident waiting to happen and I actually witnessed the banks adjacent the house crumble away in a heavy rain. The house is in dire need of updating and looks like a throwback to the bad 70's, the furniture was uncomfortable and needs replacing. Very much not as advertised. To top it off after thousands of pounds spent on staying there the owner tried to blame us on her rotting door frame, and horrible lino that was falling apart previous to our arrival.

The epitomy of a home from home, with the kitchen being the focal point for family breakfasts and evening games The location was perfect for exploring this part of Cornwall but with Perranporth being less than 10 minutes away you didn't really need to travel far for a beach day We would highly recommend

  • "A good property with huge potential to be brilliant with a bit of investment."

Great location to explore the whole of Cornwall. A lovely size with a great kitchen and outdoor area to entertain all guests. The bedrooms and bathrooms are in need of a tidy up though with poor quality furniture and flooring. Also no extraction in downstairs toilet or bathroom making it difficult to keep free from damp. Not quite the wow property we was expecting for the price we paid.

Hi I am sorry you were disappointed with your stay at Trelydarth. The entire property was redecorated in March 2022 and we tried to brighten the rooms up as it was all magnolia before. New bedding from Dunelm was purchased at this time and scatter cushions and blankets also purchased to make Trelydarth feel more welcoming and homely. I was unaware of the fan in the bathroom not working and will get this repaired as soon as possible sorry I am intending to renew the carpet in the hallway at the end of season. Thanks for your feed back Property Owner

  • "A lovely house in a quiet location."

Ample space for all of us (10 altogether). Very impressed with the facilities/equipment provided. My only criticism is that the listing dies not say that one of the twin rooms has children's beds in, you can see the car bed but nothing about the other bed being child size. The information on bins/recycling could be a little clearer also. Overall would highly recommend to others, we had a lovely week as a whole family.

Thanks for your feedback. Although the beds in one of the twin rooms is listed as children's room (with the car bed) The single bed sizes are of a adult single bed (90 centimeters wide and 190 centimeters long) they maybe a little lower to the ground though. I will definitely update the bins/recycle info. Trelydarth hopes to see you again x Kerry Property Owner

  • "We had a fantastic holiday."

Right from the moment we booked, the experience has been great. The Sykes app is great and enabled us to plan our holiday and track our outstanding balance. The holiday itself was fantastic. Trelydarth is a beautiful and spacious house set in stunning surroundings. The house was spotlessly clean and very well equipped. It also provided the perfect base from which to explore Cornwall. Due to the covid19 pandemic, it's been a long time since we have all been together as a family and to do that here, in such beautiful surroundings, was truly a blessing. Thank you x

It's location is excellent to travel around the whole of the Cornwall coast. Our party consisted of a family of eight and a dog and there was ample room. There are two lounges with TV's, six bedrooms and a lovely large kitchen dining area for all the family. Outside there is ample room and a lovely decking area. Kerry who part owns the property is very helpful and friendly. We can certainly recommend this property.

Everything was explained prior to departure and when we arrived there we found the house clean and all the instructions were clear to follow. The house was already warmed up for us which we were really surprised. The house was in a good location, very close to the town and other attractions. The weather was very wet for us, so we did stay i doors most of the time. There was two TV and two reception rooms, kids enjoyed playing wii and board games provided with the accommodation. We really enjoyed it and would def would be a place for us to return again.
