The cottage was delightful, well equipped and comfortable shame we couldn’t use the beautiful outside space and garden, the rainy weather unfortunately prevented this!

The cottage was very welcoming and the mattresses were so comfortable
I did have to look up how the microwave worked as there were no instructions for it
We can not really comment on the outside seating as the weather was so bad we never sat out
The sensor bin had been turned off at the back so did not work we only found this out when wiping it down before leaving
The shower is a bit of a snug fit no good for anyone on the large side
And the listing did not mention that there are 4 steps in the property which was not a problem for us but anyone with mobility issues could find it an issue
There is also nothing to put your drinks on when seated on the lovely sofa perhaps the sofa can be pulled out a bit and a table put there and a small coffee table as well we were worried about spilling our drinks especially red wine
But these are only little issues
The cottage is bright and spacious if we are going to visit this part of Cornwall again we would definitely come again to this lovely cottage

"Swift Cottage is a little gem!"
A wonderful, warm and cosy place to stay with everything there to make you very welcome and comfortable. Easy to find and park and close to the all the best places to visit in this lovely part of Cornwall. The welcome pack was a nice surprise, thank you Bronwen. We really enjoyed coming back after a long day sightseeing, to relax and enjoy the peace and quiet of the cottage and the great outside areas, where you can just chill out and watch the horses and birdlife. We would definitely like to return and have no hesitation in recommending Swift Cottage as a perfect holiday getaway.

Only problem was the postcode directions to the property from Skyes but the owner resolved this issues by contacting us themselves,

"Very nice holiday cottage - pretty cottage with original features in a remote location so very peaceful, and beds are very comfortable."
Was a bit tricky to actually find the location the first time - not helped because it was dark and poor weather (raining and foggy!) but easy to find once I got my bearings. Owners live nearby and are helpful and responsive. Would definitely stay here again.

"We really didn’t know what to expect, this being our first UK Staycation in years."
However, Swift Cottage was wonderful both as a place to unwind as a family of four, and as a good base to explore Cornwall from.
It is a well equipped cottage with everything you might need, that was spotless when we arrived and just felt like a home from home with some really nice touches scattered around.
We were lucky enough to meet our friendly hosts when we arrived who really care about the cottage and their guests, gave us lots of tips on local beaches, places to visit and where to grab some great food. We were also blown away with a lovely welcome basket which was a great surprise!
We will definitely try to book Swift Cottage again when we are back in Cornwall in the future and would not hesitate to recommend.

"Wonderful holiday cottage."
A real home from home with everything we could have possibly needed for our week away. We particularly liked the finishing touches, lovely cream tea, cider and chocolate waiting for us on arrival. Even travel toiletries if we prefer them! Spotlessly clean, beautiful fresh flowers dotted around the cottage too which made it so welcoming. The weather wasn’t as good as it could have been which meant we spent longer in the cottage than we would otherwise, it was so comfortable and relaxing. Beautiful outside space too, undercover seating so we could enjoy our morning coffee and evenings outside even in the rain. We stay in Cornwall most years and this accommodation is one of the best we’ve stayed in, would highly recommend.

We met the owner upon arrival who was lovely and couldn't do enough for us, with a beautiful hamper of cream tea waiting for us indoors. All our expectations were met and exceeded, we had everything we needed and more. Thank you so much for a lovely stay, we would definitely recommend to others and would stay again in the future.
