  • "I will not deal with any organisation that refuses to accept phone calls and will not enter into dialogue (emails at the very least)."

We knew nothing about a key to the garage to get access to the garden sunshade. The BBQ arrived on our last day. It would have been helpful to know that the rubbish is collected very early on Thursday morning, 30% of our rubbish remained because we missed the collection, being too busy vacuuming etc prior to departure.

Thankyou for your feedback, we are sorry to hear that you had issues trying to get hold of us. We are aware of the issue and have made strides to improve this service. We will investigate the garage key, the owners had bought a brand new BBQ as the old one was in need of replacement. Our apologies that this arrived towards the end of your stay. We state the waste collection is on Thursdays in our welcome folder in the property. We hope you still managed to enjoy your visit despite these issues and would love to welcome you back to North Cornwall in the future. - John Bray Cornish Holidays on behalf of the owner. • "The property is advertised as having a bbq but there was no bbq at the property which was disappointing"

Thank you for your feedback. We apologise that there was not a BBQ present at the time of your stay, unfortunately it was in need of replacement. This has now been remedied as the owner has purchased a new one for the property. We hope to welcome you back anytime in the future - John Bray Cornish Holidays on behalf of the owner. • "Thoroughly enjoyed our stay."

The house had plenty of room for our family, was very well equipped with everything we needed. Clean and comfortable and really handy for the surrounding area, beaches etc. Convenient for local shops providing everyday needs. We would be very interested in booking again for 2025 but the website appears to be blocked out. Further info would be appreciated. Denise and family,

Thank you so much for your kind words. It's great to hear that you had such a lovely stay and had the perfect base to explore the local area from. We will be in touch about provisionally booking for next year and your options. - John Bray Cornish Holidays on behalf of the owner. Property Owner

  • "We loved this property."

The listing does not do it justice. I can't really fault anything apart from the kettle! It was a stove top kettle and took a very long time to boil so we ended up boiling water in saucepans. A very small thing! Thank you for a great holiday.

  • "Great bungalow slightly let down by dated and cramped second bathroom compared to master en-suite which was lovely."

Great to see kitchen had been refitted after our last visit 2 years ago and the new kitchen is a big improvement particularly as it’s the first impression you have when you enter the property. Lots of windows. Light and spacious. Very pretty garden. Not overlooked. Two points to note: 1. Central Heating - because of slightly chilly weather, it would have been nice for the CH to be operating AM and PM but there were no instructions provided on how to operate the system or any information about the system being pre-set by the owner so, we presume, it was unchangeable. We therefore had to resort to using the individual plug in electric heaters provided which seemed a waste of energy. The fact these are provided indicates the air source heating is not up to the job! 2. There were no instructions for the microwave which was not obvious how to operate surprisingly. Suggest these are provided to help other guests.

Thanks for your valuable feedback, and we are glad you like our new kitchen and the en-suite bathroom! Hope you had a lovely holiday. We will ensure there are better instructions as to how to operate the heating (new air-source heat pump) which actually works very well. The electric radiators are left from previous days with the LPG combi-boiler but we thought it would be nice to leave them for your use as heat pumps are known to be often bit slower to adjust . We will also ensure there are instructions for the microwave. The second bathroom will be part of our rolling improvement plan, most of which has already been completed as you saw. That bathroom still works well and is warm and we haven't had any other complaints or negative feelings voiced about it. Property Owner

  • "The house exceeded our expectations."

It was spacious, clean, and had a very well equipped kitchen. It had super comfortable mattresses particularly in 2 out of the three bedroom. Having said that, the mattresses in third bedroom were also more than adequate. The house was warm and welcoming. The layout was great. Garden was pretty with nice furniture. The utility room was also a great extra. One small note for the owner. The cold water tap in the en-suite turns the wrong way and it could easily be broken if one trys to force it open the correct way.
