  • "The property is in a great location."

Unfortunately it clearly isn't being maintained to a good standard. The boiler was not working when we arrived, this would have been evident if an inventory had been complete before check in. The property was grimy and we had to clean it, the beds and sofas need replacing which guests commented on in previous years, several lights didn't work and the garden needs tidying along with the furniture. We had maintenance people in and out the property so it didn't feel like a holiday!

Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry for the inconvenience caused by these issues and that we were unable to rectify the issue with the boiler, we did try! Your comments have been passed on to the team here at John Bray Cornish Holidays and to the owner. We hope you still managed to enjoy your visit despite these issues and would love to welcome you back to North Cornwall in the future. - John Bray Cornish Holidays on behalf of the owner. • "Lovely holiday home, plenty of indoor space."

The main thing for us the garden was very overgrown needed a good tidy up. So spent time on the small fielded area. Would have been better with a grassed area like the other gardens. That said had a very enjoyable stay the house itself had everything we needed.

Thank you so much for your feedback. We are so glad that you enjoyed your stay and would love to welcome you back anytime in the future. We will take a look into the grass cutting - John Bray Cornish Holidays on behalf of the owner. Property Owner

  • "Lowenna Manor 3 is a lovely place to stay."

Just few basic things were lacking that wouldn’t go amiss: Tea towels, bath mats (had to mop the bathrooms every time we had a shower) clothes pegs and lastly bed linen! Also some of the windows (ie. The main bathroom) need some TLC to make them easier to open. If it wasn’t for this it would have been 5 stars.

Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry for the inconvenience caused by these issues. The bath mats and tea towels should have been provided to you so our apologies that these were missed. • "The house was lovely , it had all the things you would need going from home to home , my only 2 niggles were, when it’s hot , the bedroom in the attic was so stiflingly hot even with the windows open, there was only one small fan , I think the house could use 2 fans."

The king size bed mattress has been used so much that there’s indents in it that makes each side only have a small space - it’s difficult to explain, it goes down at the side then up in the middle then down again. Other than that the showers were great , kitchen fantastic, lovely dining table to sit at and a lovely little garden and very close to the local shops and the beach was a 10-15 minute walk down the hill . I would definitely recommend this property.

We have been reviewing all of our feedback over this years season, we just wanted to say a massive thank you for taking the time to feedback on your stay. Your comments were noted by us here at John Bray Cornish Holidays. We are glad to hear you enjoyed your visit and would love to welcome you back to North Cornwall in the future. • "A superb property and location and John Bray were great to deal with throughout."

The property was let down slightly by some rather tired and old double beds, a broken hoover and a broken kettle.

Many thanks for taking the time to leave feedback for Lowenna 3. We are delighted to report that the owner has replaced the broken vacuum cleaner and kettle. John Bray Cornish Holidays Property Owner

  • "Second year at Lowenna and it all went well."

Appreciated the addition of the Nespresso coffee machine, won't pack one next year! One improvement would be to include some plastic/beach plates and cups and it is time to replace the fridge freezer.

Many thanks for your feedback. We are delighted to report that the owner has put plastic plates and cups for the beach in the house now. John Bray Cornish Holidays Property Owner
