  • "We live on the london/kent border."

As soon as we arrived, both windows fully opened & also the balcony door .propped open by the rock.that Atlantic pure air you cannot beat if the Cornish could bottle it they would make millions. .We witnessed every day a local who walks 2 bulldogs & a little black dog,if you see them look out for the CAT.yes a CAT!!! the owners, that goes out with them,a tortoiseshell.i took videos to convince myself.Please.stay at this Wonderful flat.the time we booked ,superb value for money.correspondance with the owner was excellent.thanks very much john

  • "Beautiful property in a fantastic location."

Spotlessly clean and well appointed, but as mentioned in another review the bed was very firm and we struggled to get a good night's sleep on it. Would definitely stay again however

  • "Milk, chocolate, cookies and wine were lovely gifts in arrival."

Apartment was spotlessly clean and well equipped. Sadly Mattress on King size bed was extremely firm , appreciate it is difficult to please everyone but as experienced travellers we have never suffered such discomfort as this before, so unfortunately didn’t get much sleep. Contacted owner to see if he could supply a mattress topper but he declined. Apartment advertised as having sea view’s but only place you could get sight of the sea was to leave the apartment and stand in the communal stairwell at the rear of the property.

  • "The apartment was perfect for me."

It was extremely clean and very comfortable. The location was excellent just a 10 minute walk to the main beach and around 20 minutes into Newquay which has lots of shops, bars and restaurants. I stayed at beginning of June and was blessed with incredible weather. The balcony is a sun trap for the morning sun and provides shelter if it is breezy before heading to the beach! It is a relatively quiet location there is a little traffic noise this wasn’t problematic. The apartment is third floor so nice view but a few stairs to reach it. It is a very well furnished apartment much better than most holiday apartments, with a comfortable sofa and king size bed. There are mirrors so you can actually do hair and make up! The kitchen is lovely with all white goods and fully equipped so you can cook a full meal if required. I liked it so much I extended my stay and will definitely be back!

  • "Loved our stay at 23 Tre Lowen."

.& this isn't a complaint but just to say it may be helpful to explain to holiday makers that the key is in a key safe ( with Cornish flag...as currently advised)..at the bottom of the outside steps to the property behind the wall on the left & not at the bottom of the stairs to the flat..We did have to buzz someone in the property to open the entrance door. Also , again not a criticism, but it may be helpful to advise the number of steps to the property as people may have mobility issues ( we didn't) or have heavy luggage if staying more than a few days. We stayed two weeks. Otherwise we loved our stay there.

We would certainly return and be very happy to use this very comfortable apartment again.

  • "Very well located property, spotlessly clean and well appointed."

Comfortable bed and everything that we needed to make our stay just what we had intended. The private parking was very welcome as was the coffee and wine left for us. Would definitely recommend this property if you want to stay in Newquay and would use it again. We were blessed with good weather and the panoramic views from the living area and balcony on a sunny morning were the antidote to the city /town life we had left behind for a few days. Thank you.

  • "Only problem was the dish washer and the washing machine both leaked."

We had to mop up the water and one day there was a strong smell like cat pee but I think this is where the water is getting underneath the laminate flooring as it is pushing it up. Apart from that everything was perfect. Nice touch with the wine biscuits and coffee.

Just 400 meters from Fistral beach, and boasting views across the Cornish coastline, this contemporary apartment is the perfect setting for a romantic escape to this stunning part of the country.

A sought-after off-road parking space greets you at the base of the apartment building, ideal for a staycation in this popular seaside resort and making it easy to come and go to visit the neighbouring towns and attractions as you please.

Climb the stairs to the third floor and enter into the apartment where you'll be greeted into the hallway, providing handy storage space for your sandy flip flops and any beach going essentials, before continuing through to the open-plan living space.

You'll be delighted by the neutral décor and modern furnishings that the social space boasts, featuring a contemporary kitchen fit with gleaming white cupboards and silver accents and amply-equipped with all the necessities to prepare a delicious meal to enjoy with your significant other around the intimate dining table.

After indulging in your tasty delights, head out to the balcony to take in the views across the rooftops to the distant coastline, soaking in the fresh sea air as you toast a glass of fizz to a wonderful holiday.

After an action-packed day, let the television do the entertaining and snuggle up together on the sofa to watch one of your favourite films, before heading to the bathroom to prepare for bed with a rejuvenating soak in the tub or a steamy shower, depending on your preference.

Retire to the well-presented bedroom, featuring a sumptuous king sized bed, decorated with a glamorous plush headboard, to rest your eyes ahead of another day of adventure and wake up as the sun rises and floods the room with natural light through the towering picture windows.

Grab your sunglasses and head out of the door to Fistral Beach, just 400m away, the venue for most major international surfing competitions due to its Atlantic swells ensuring consistent waves, where you can hire a lounger and relish in the warmer weather in the Summer months or thrill-seekers can visit Fistral Beach Surf School for a lesson in surfing or bodyboarding.

You can also head north to Watergate Bay if you wanted a beautiful long stretch of beach.

Visit over 1,000 of the world's rarest and endangered animals at Newquay Zoo followed by a leisurely stroll around Trenance Gardens or test your swing at Newquay Golf Club.

If you don't fancy cooking, the town hosts a number of pubs and restaurants to indulge in a bite to eat, including The Boathouse - Street Food on the Beach, perfectly positioned on the beachfront and housing numerous food stalls to choose from, or for a spot of luxury, head to local favourite, Lewinnick Lodge, set above the cliffs of Pentire Headland, serving up the catch of the day and boasting panoramic views across the Atlantic.

To escape the hustle and bustle of Cornwall's most popular seaside resort, head to the nearby village of Crantock, home to a beautiful sandy beach that is cared for by the National Trust.

Take the tranquil costal walk from Crantock through to Holywell Bay, where filming for the historical television drama Poldark took place.

However you plan to spend your time, 23 Tre Lowen is a idyllic base for your next escape to the coast.
