  • "Excellent for cleanliness and comfort."

Noisy movements from above. Should be noted a large step. No good for a stroll as this area is very, very hilly. Nice little extras supplied by owner.

We are very glad you appreciated the extras in the welcome box. There are many walks and strolls available from the apartment both costal and wooded, depending on your preference. One stroll is to the local pub just 5 minutes walk away, down hill on the way there and fabulous view over Portmellon cove. Property Owner

  • "Property was clean and tidy but disappointed with the bedroom!"

No windows or fan supplied very hot to sleep only window that could be opened was the front room which would have been subject to security as on the ground floor

Thank you for the valuable feedback and we have a fan that could have been provided if we knew you needed it. We will place it in the apartment for future guests if they need it in the hotter evenings. We always welcome feedback so we can always improve the experience of our guests. Property Owner

  • "We had a lovely relaxing week at EdyVean and would certainly recommend it."

The apartment was lovely, clean, very comfortable and well equipped. We ate in a couple of nights and the kitchen had everything we needed to do this. The parking space was much appreciated and the outdoor space was super. Jane the owner was very friendly and gave us some good tips about places to visit locally. You can walk into Mevagissey, which takes about 15 to 20 mins and there are some lovely little shops, tea rooms and restaurants. It's a great location to visit Eden, Lost Gardens of Heligan, Charlestown and local beaches. Definitely will return.

Thank you for the fantastic and informative review of our apartment. We are so glad you enjoyed staying at Edy Vean and you found everything you needed during your stay. It was great to catch up and some of the recommendations were well received. Hope to see you again soon. Property Owner

  • "Nice accommodation but location was rather tricky given the bad weather and flooded roads."

Should be brilliant in the summer months.

It was a pleasure to meet you both and were so disappointed with the weather that interrupted your stay. We do hope you come back and enjoy the area with better weather. Property Owner

  • "A lovely comfortable apartment, really clean and superbly equipped with everything needed and more."

It has a very large shower room with a great walk in shower and a nicely furnished lounge. The bed was really comfortable but unfortunately there were no windows in the bedroom. The property is very convenient for the coastal path from Portmellon Cove which is about 5-10 minutes walk away and has a lovely cafe serving take away drinks & food, (the pasties & cake are delicious) and also a pub (this doesn’t serve food). Gorran Haven beach is a 10 minute drive away and is a lovely sandy beach, gently shelving. It also has a bar and cafes. There is a small outside patio at the property by the front door. The property is described as a short walk from Mevagissey, but it is a very steep walk and not suitable for everyone, so we had to use the car much more than we had planned. For guests with no mobility issues this would be a great choice.

We are so glad you found the apartment really comfortable and we try to ensure all comforts are catered for. We understand the lack of window in the bedroom and have a glazed door so you still get the light into the room during the day. Unfortunately Mevagissey is situated on 3 hills and unless you stay in the centre of the village you are required to walk up one of the hills at some point. It is good to point this out so anyone looking to stay does know walking back from the village is up Polkirt hill. There used to be a pub at the top, Harbour Lights, but it was converted to flats so there is no longer the chance of a drink halfway! Property Owner

And only a short 15-minute walk away from Mevagissey in Cornwall.

This ground-floor apartment enjoys a stylish interior and hosts one bedroom, a superb base for a couple seeking an escape to the Cornish coast.

On arrival, park up in off-road space before making your way into your holiday home, where you will discover the tastefully furnished living/dining room.

Unwind with a cup of tea and escape into the pages of a book on the armchair or sprawl on the sofa to catch up on your favourite shows, when stomachs begin to rumble dine together at the table to savour a meal.

Locate the kitchen, where you can treat your other half to a heart-warming dish with an electric oven and hob to assist you and if the sun is shining, why not have an alfresco affair on the front patio?

The front garden is home to shrubbery and palm trees to keep you in the shade and when the evening cools, retreat inside, and enjoy a steamy shower in the wet room to rinse the day away.

When you're ready to rest your head, a king size double bed and Emma mattress awaits, where you can continue reading under a bedside lamp.

Awaken with a home-cooked breakfast to fuel the day and as coffee is poured, discuss the plans for the adventures ahead.

A short walk will lead you into the fishing village of Mevagissey, lined with cobbled streets for a mooch around the shops, an aquarium to get up close to sea creatures and the Lonely Coast Gallery to soak in the culture.

There are a number of excellent restaurants for you to try as well as several local pubs all with their own unique ambience.

Explore the sandy cove of Colonna beach to soak in the sun and take advantage of the close proximity of the South West Coast Path either on foot or bike to marvel at the rugged coastline.

Jump in the car and unveil 200 years of history at The Lost Gardens Heligan, visit Charlestown to view unique architecture and a cluster of eateries or for a beautiful beach backed by trees, relax on Porthpean Beach.

Or take a trip to the world-renowned Eden Project and explore the bio domes and all of the exotic plants they house!
