The property

Oystercatcher is a stunning house situated in Mevagissey, Cornwall.

This family-friendly property boasts a balcony, fire-pit/ barbecue, woodburning stove, and gorgeous sea views – with private driveway parking for three vehicles, Oystercatcher is idyllic for a family or group of friends and two polite pets on a coastal getaway in Cornwall.

Stroll from the beach to your new haven, where underfloor heating hugs warmth back into your ocean-dipped toes, and rinse off the stubborn sand that followed you home in the outside shower, then have a long luxurious soak in the en-suite freestanding bath, en-suite walk-in shower, or shower room, while the washing machine and tumble dryer prepare tomorrow’s swimming costumes.

Glide into the first-floor, open-plan living space and toast your adventured toes by a woodburning stove, while a delicious dinner is whipped up in the well-equipped kitchen area.

Dig in at a spacious dining table for eight or why not sizzle up some supper on the barbecue/firepit to dine alfresco on the patio or on the enclosed, glass-fronted terrace?

Indulge in a drink on the wraparound balcony and watch the sun sink into the sea, before cosying up in the snug with an evening film on the Smart TV.

When sleep calls, answer in two ground-floor super-king-size or two ground-floor king-size beds eager to embrace you.

Soak up your local surroundings at Mevagissey Harbour Wall, explore Mevagissey Museum, indulge in a beach day at Portmellon Beach, dive deeper at Mevagissey Aquarium, and grab a bite to eat at The Kings Arms – just a stone’s throw from your property!

Venture a little further afield for Newquay to spend the kids’ energy at Body Bounce theme park, before meeting the animals at Newquay Zoo and Blue Reef Aquarium Newquay.

Take that short drive to Falmouth to treat the history buff to Pendennis Castle, admire the pieces at Falmouth Art Gallery, and take a scenic stroll through Swanvale Nature Reserve.

For a seaside retreat in Cornwall, look no further than Oystercatcher
