  • "Dot May is a very comfortable, well equipped place to stay, in a beautiful part of Cornwall."

A lovely quiet setting with easy access to the Coast Path & near to Polzeath, Rock, Padstow & Port Isaac. Patsy is so welcoming & very informative about the area, nothing is too much trouble. The shepherds hut is beautifully & thoughtfully done, a wonderful relaxing place to spend time, thank you Patsy, we would love to return one day.

  • "Dot May is an idyllic shepherd’s hut in a glorious setting - with peacocks and the most spectacular silver pheasant strutting majestically around the garden."

It is beautifully decorated with flair and style, and Patsy has thought of literally everything for comfort and convenience. The bed is exceptionally comfortable and although it was fractionally short for my 6ft 4ins husband, he still slept like a baby on the wonderful mattress! Our only regrets were that there was no WiFi, being in a poorly serviced area, and no fridge. However Patsy had a very efficient system organised with a cool box and regular fresh ice packs. We had a delightful stay.

The hut is welcoming, cosy, perfectly appointed, has all the comforts one could want for, and is spotlessly clean. A really special few nights of peaceful calm.
