  • "Well-equipped apartment with great views and within easy walking distance of Porthcurno beach."

  • "The accommodation was lovely and clean with a nice view to the sea and great location to the Minack Theatre."

The rooms were clean and comfortable. The small frustration was that only salt was left as a cooking provision. Other basics like oil, teabags and sugar weren’t provided so had to be bought. We also needed to purchase extra loo roll and some of my guests weren’t even there for the full week. Finally there was a smell in the drains that was quite unpleasant that was particularly noticeable in the double room bathroom.

  • "Fantastic location the apartment is very well equipped loads of thoughtfully extras, great base for walking/beach holiday , Minack is 5 mins walk (you need to pre book) ."

BBQ area at the end of the carpark has great views nice to have this if your apparent doesn't have a balcony. We though that the BBQ area could be up dated possibly made bigger to make the most of its location as a future improvement.

All the facilities were first class. It would have been nice to have had a visitors book to make these comments.

Thank you for your kind comments. We are pleased you had a good stay. When we bought the property we did find an old visitors book from years ago. We kept it, and will put it back, as we agree it is a nice thing to have in the property. Property Owner

  • "Wonderful stay at Beachcomber."

Outstanding view from the flat. We thought the home was welcoming, comfortable and well equipped as a self catering home which made cooking a real pleasure. Everything is really well laid out and planned in the flat and once you’re in it, you don’t notice at all that you’re in a flat complex. Would definitely book again.

Thank you very much for your lovely review. We are so pleased you enjoyed your stay. Property Owner

About the location

SENNEN

Land’s End 1 mile; St Just 5 miles; Penzance 9 miles.

The most westerly village in mainland Britain, Sennen has a lovely mile-long beach of pure white sand and is a very popular holiday destination. With excellent surfing conditions, the village has its own surf school – overlooked by a super-cool beach bar/restaurant with floor-to-ceiling windows which make the most of the wonderful views. Once a hub of smuggling activity, Sennen still retains many secret passages – one of which is said to lead to the covered well in the Old Success Inn. Largely unchanged over time, this lovely village has a timeless appeal and is home to a gallery, a medieval church, an Iron Age fort and a small selection of shops where you can buy beachware, gifts and souvenirs, and a range of groceries. There is also a weekly Farmers’ Market in the village Community Centre each Tuesday morning. During the summer, the beach bar becomes a hub of activity and entertainment, with live music, weekly barbecues and popular surfing competitions.
