  • "Although the property is looking a little tired in places and would benefit from some TLC, this did not affect our enjoyment of our stay."

The bungalow offered comfortable accommodation with a very practical layout. The conservatory was a real bonus on days that were sunny, but windy. Corriana is extremely well situated with delightful views and easy walks to excellent local shops and beaches. We found it to be a very peaceful location which was perfect for us and the dog. If we could make one improvement it would be the bed in bedroom1 which we found too firm. However, we enjoyed our stay so much we have already made a booking to return.

Thank you so much for your feedback. We are so glad that you enjoyed your stay and we look forward to welcoming you back again. All suggestions/comments can be viewed by the property owner so these are appreciated. - John Bray Cornish Holidays on behalf of the owner. Property Owner

  • "Beautiful location with views over camel estuary."

Large spacious lounge/kitchen. Twin bedroom has no storage space. En-suite shower door needs new seal, difficulty in opening door. Overall we enjoyed our stay at Coriana.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us. We are very happy to hear that you enjoyed your stay at Corriana, and the views. However, we are sorry that you encountered some maintenance issues with the en-suite shower, your comments will be raised to our maintenance team. • "Corriana is sweet and simple holiday home, lovely location in Rock and situated in a great plot of land (rare these days as a square meter is built on in North Cornwall!"

) Garden space was essential for us (as we took four active infants with us!) and Corriana's wrap around garden didn't disappoint with lovely views. A great base to go beach exploring, bakery/butchers incredibly close for a big fresh breakfast each day and easy access st Enodoc golf course and Padstow (via the ferry from rock harbor)

Thank you for your feedback and so glad that you enjoyed your holiday. We do love the garden - hours of fun for young children! We hope you will visit again next year. Property Owner

  • "This was our second time staying at Corianna, we love the location of the house - perfect for walking to Rock beach and for driving to nearby beaches/towns."

We also love the big garden (even more so now we have a very active toddler!) and the open plan living/dining area. Although the house is great, there were a few things we thought could be improved. A lot of the interior doors don’t close properly, which was a bit of a pain. The house has a great range of kitchen utensils, but we went to use the vegetable peelers provided and one was covered in rust and the other was missing a blade - perhaps these should have been removed or replaced? The wooden garden furniture is very worn out and not that pleasant to sit on. All in all, we really enjoyed our stayed and would definitely come back.

Thank you for taking the time to feedback on your stay. We are glad that you enjoyed your stay and would love to have you back for a third time! - Your comments have been passed onto the team at John Bray Cornish Holidays and to the owner. Thank you for your feedback on the peelers they have been replaced. - John Bray Cornish Holidays on behalf of the owner. Property Owner

  • "Lovely bungalow, only downside was en-suite smelt of damp and when you walked in, and we couldn’t use the conservatory , which had lovely views, but had a strong chemical smell."

Thank you for your feedback - is always helpful for us so we can look to rectify any concerns from our guests. Regarding the damp smell in the en-suite: if the heated towel rail and/or radiator in that bathroom were turned off then the room can be cold as it has 3 external walls. We aim to keep the towel rail on to supplement the radiator, but sometimes it will have been turned off by previous guests. I apologise if this was the case. We will be looking at upgrading the ensuite in due course in line with the family bathroom. Conservatory: unfortunately (or if you like the heat, fortunately) the sunroom will become quite hot unless windows are opened. As the floor is Lino, this will result in the smell you mentioned as being a 'chemical ' smell. We are unable to leave windows open for guests but am sorry that you were not able to use it for your stay. I hope you will visit again in the future. Property Owner

  • "Loved the property particularly it’s large garden around the whole property and the open plan living dining area."

There’s a lovely little sun trap patio area to the side of the conservatory where we enjoyed the late sunny afternoons. Location is perfect to explore the surrounding area and walking distance to Rock. There’s a bakery and a Spa convenience store just up the road so everything on hand for an enjoyable stay. With a few minor improvements this could easily have been a 5 Star property - En-suite bathroom needs modernising (towel radiator doesn’t work so felt and smelt a little damp at times) - No wardrobe in the master bedroom for such a good sized room - TV is rather small for such a large living room - Heating on a timer in the garage so no hot water until 5pm - Third Bedroom is rather small and cramped with just two single beds Above did not detract us from having a lovely time in Rock and I would recommend the property with the above points in mind.

Thank you for your feedback, it is always useful for us to have comments so we can address problems and areas to upgrade. Consequently we have bought a larger television, have adjusted the timing for the heating and hot water and we are hoping to upgrade the en-suite this coming winter. Do hope you will visit again. I have mentioned to John Bray but little communication back. We had to wash all clothes when we got home to get rid of the smell. This is a big shame as otherwise the cottage is great.

Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry for the inconvenience caused by these issues. Following this feedback you have given, we have gone in and rectified the issue.
