  • "Great central location and good that it has a parking space, we know it would be noisy but we didn't realise it would be that bad, pub down the road playing music sometimes till nearly 2am on Thursday morning."

Lovely shutters on Windows but a 2 inch gap in the master bedroom and bathroom ones so had to get the blankets from the other beds to cover them as they are facing the main street! Hot tap in master bathroom would not turn on then when it did it took a while to turn off so used other sink in bathroom, Bins are supposed to be emptied Saturday afternoons when we came to put rubbish in it on Wednesday it was full to the brim. We prefer to stay In apartments and cottages so we can relax after a day out but them settee's are so uncomfortable. Bed was comfy though. We won't be staying the the centre again

Thank you for taking the time to give us feedback after your stay. We shall look into the points you have raised for future improvements. We hope to have the oppotunity to welcome you back again in the near future. Kind regards, Carbis Bay Holidays Team. Property Owner

  • "Lovely flat… the entrance area could do with some work, the main door warped, the area to the right full of bottles, cans and rubbish (might not be owned, but still looks terrible)… no key for the garage to put rubbish out… notes not up-to-date regarding this in the welcome book (different advise on wall) - bit confusing (met cleaner of no."

2 on last morning, who was lovely and said she would sort for us, which was lovely especially as not our cleaner!!) Apart from that fabulous apartment and loved our stay in my old home town! Bear in mind town centre location which means noisy people leaving pubs at night and early bin and glass bank emptying at silly o’clock in the morning - bring ear plugs!!!!

  • "Arghanti has the potential to be fantastic but feel like it is in need of some major TLC, to many small issues to list from broken taps to broken extractor fans."

Overall this didn't ruin our experience of St Ives, it is situated in a fantastic location and we had the best holiday.

  • "Few little problems which you don’t expect when this property is so expensive…."

Cracked floor tiles in the kitchen area, mould in the shower bathroom, door hooks broken, internal windows filthy. Not the property owners fault but the noise from the late bar leavers is horrendous and the seagulls stay vocal throughout the night. Apart from that, it’s a lovely place to visit. St Ives is a dream place. Restaurants serve great food and if it’s just a drink with them that’s ok. Dog owners are welcomed everywhere apart from the beaches. Before 10am and after 6pm is ok but not in between.

Thank you for taking time to give us feedback, all feedback points are taken into account. We are glad your stay was good and hope to welcome you back again in the near future. Kind regards, Carbis Bay Holiday team. Property Owner

Lovely open plan living area, beds very comfortable Just a shame shutters in master bedroom and shower room are a little small and don’t close - found spare towels and had to improvise Extractor fans in both bathrooms and kitchen not working - this probably contributed to the amount of mould on walls and ceiling of shower room and mould starting on stairs walls Bin in garage a little confusing - use the code given in the master key safe box on wall as entering - the key in there is for the lock on garage We knew where the property was and expected noise at night - was not expecting how bad Friday and Saturday night would be

Thank you for your feedback we are glad that you found the apartment lovely. We shall look into the points you have raised to be improved upon. We hope to welcome you back again in the near future. Kind Regards, Carbis Bay Holidays Team. Property Owner
