  • "Arrived to a lovely clean cottage, crisp white bedding and fluffy towels."

The double bed is very comfortable however I personally would have liked it to have had a mattress protector on. The kitchen is equipped with everything needed for self catering, the one thing I would comment on is due to it being so well stocked there is no designated free cupboard for groceries and guests will have to empty one to find space to store things. Unlike a previous comment I found the leather sofas comfortable and loved the quirky octopus lamp. Lots of games and books provided for quieter moments. Have stayed in several different cottages now as family live local, most of which leave some form of welcome pack for your arrival. Although this wasn’t the case here it is reflected in the price of the cottage as it is very competitively priced for the same standard of accommodation. The only thing I didn’t like and it is personal to me not a complaint was the bunk bed. My Husband is a restless sleeper and sometimes I need to have my own space and wasn’t comfortable in the bunk. Had a lovely week, the weather was kind and we had dinner on the picnic benches several evenings.

  • "Overall the accommodation was very good."

It was clean well located. If I was to be very picky the sofas were a little uncomfortable as the padding was worn. The beds were very comfortable the site was well kept and the food in the clubhouse was excellent. We will definitely be staying here again soon.

  • "Overall, it was an excellent experience."

We have stayed at these sorts of properties before and often been disappointed, but this was a real treat! It was clean, well-cared for and equipped with TV's in all rooms (perfect when the weather is not up to much) quality high speed internet and great grounds around the property. Downsides: - well the road that BMW Sat Nav takes you on is very narrow, but you soon work out there is a better route to the main gate 100yds further on (and anyway it is Cornwall) . I guess it could be noisy in Peck with lots of kids around and you windows open, but at the end of September it was just peaceful.

  • "Dishwasher didn’t work, tried to ring number on booking but it was an answer machine."

Not enough hot water for 4 people. But nice accommodation, plenty of room. Good to be able to use, on site bar/ gym/pool. Thank you

  • "The house itself was clean, roomy and comfortable."

The grounds are fantastic and it was easy to walk around with our dogs. It’s a good location and the beach is about a mile away. We were able to go before the summer dog curfew and have breakfast at the cafe. We drove but it could be walked but there were no roadside footpaths. The only negative which is nothing to do with the owner was that we went to the clubhouse for a meal and they had run out of food for the night. The next night we drove to a local pub called The Trelowarren arms with our dogs and had a fantastic meal. We would come back again.
