  • "A truly beautiful bungalow, extremely clean, cosy & well equipped, really nice touches."

Gardens are so well kept, was nice to beable to sit outside. Plenty of parking for 1 car. Was left a lovely welcome pack. Ian came to introduce himself which we thought was such a nice thing to do. A fantastic location for exploring Cornwall. Definately would stay again and recommend to family and friends.

  • "Lovely property beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean and very comfortable beds."

You have everything you need to cook a meal and it's warm and cosy when the nights get chilly. Ian and Claire left very clear and easy to follow instructions for everything and left us a very nice gift basket and milk in the fridge which was very thoughtful and much appreciated.

Thank you for your very kind review, we are pleased you enjoyed your stay at Compass Point and would love to see you again if you return to Cornwall, Ian and Claire. Property Owner

  • "We’re a young family with two boys exploring Southern Cornwall, Compass Point was the perfect base."

The hosts were very welcoming, meeting us on arrival, they gave us a quick tour of the property covering all the essentials and providing information about local amenities and personal contact number should we have any further questions. The bungalow itself was excellent, extremely clean, each room well appointed and a fantastic decked garden area for relaxing in after a days exploring. The area has excellent shopping facilities and quick access to the A30 and the GWR rail network. Of particular note were the beaches at Godrevy and Gwithian, about 15-20 mins away. Probably the best holiday property we have stayed in, thank you.

Thank you for your kind feedback. We are pleased you enjoyed your stay, kind regards Ian and Claire. Property Owner

  • "Everything about the cottage was excellent, from the cleanliness to the high standard of furniture and decoration."

There is only one tiny thing which could have improved our stay, which is providing a four seater table and chairs outside, instead of a small two seat bistro set. It would have been nice for all of the party to be able to eat outside in the beautiful garden.

Thank you for your lovely feedback, we are pleased you enjoyed your holiday, we have purchased a new table and chairs so four people can dine outside when it is sunny as per your comments. Hope to see you again. Kind regards Ian and Claire. Property Owner

  • "Whenever we hire a self catering property for the first time we wonder what it will actually be like once inside."

No need to worry with Compass Point - it is exactly how it is in the photos and the description - you won’t be disappointed. The owners, Ian and Claire, live nearby and are very friendly and helpful. The bungalow is tastefully furnished/decorated and immaculate. The welcome pack and milk was a nice touch upon arrival. Shame we couldn’t make use of the pretty back garden but the weather wasn’t too kind to us during our week. Conveniently placed for touring both north snd south Cornish coasts. Thoroughly recommend.

Thank you for your positive feedback, it was lovely to meet you both and we are pleased you enjoyed your stay. We hope to see you again. Kind regards Ian and Claire. Property Owner

  • "The Bungalow was spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated and had an extremely pretty garden with seating area."

There was everything you could possibly need it was like home from home and even though it is on a housing estate it was so quiet and the neighbours were very friendly. We met Claire and Ian on arrival they were very nice and gave us a short tour and assured us if there were any problems they were just around the corner. They had left us a lovely goodie basket which was very thoughtful and even milk in the fridge. We would have no hesitation recommending this lovely place and would definitely be back when next in Cornwall.

Thank you for your kind feedback. We are pleased to hear you enjoyed staying at Compass Point. We would love to see you again if you come to Cornwall. Kind regards Ian and Claire. Property Owner

The property was spotless and comfortable and the outside patio and garden was superb, as for the location the best way to describe it, is ‘it’s not far from ‘Everywhere’.

Thank you for your feedback. We hope you enjoyed your holiday. Kind regards Ian and Claire. Property Owner
