On the second day of our stay I put a load of washing into the machine. The house manual had instructions for how to erect the clothes airer - I hunted high and low and could not find it. There was no washing line outside to hang the clothes on either. I phoned Sykes and asked if they could contact the housekeeper to find out where it could be found. I was told this would be dealt with on the Monday since it was a weekend. I phoned again on Monday and was told they would phone the housekeeper and that they would bring out an airer that day. It never turned up. I phoned again on Tuesday - and received a call to say the airer was in the downstairs cloakroom - which is was not. So I was told the housekeep would bring one out - it never turned up. At this point I just gave up.
I had to use the tumble dryer to dry my several loads of wet washing during the week, which I was loathed to do, and would incur increased electricity costs. Some of my washing could not be tumble dried so I had to hang it on hangers all around the house. All around not a very satisfactory service from Sykes, which considering I had paid just under £2500 for a week, was very disappointing.
We apologize for your inconvenience, we fitted the house out to have every possible item our guests could want, to have a happy and relaxing stay and regularly replace items to keep the house tip top. Where the airer went we have no idea, unfortunately on this occasion we where not informed an item had gone missing, which is unusual, if we had, one would have been with you via Amazon within 24 hours. We had a fantastic time, highly recommend.
Only tiny thing to mention is the grill pan needs replacing and the baking trays.

""Sennen Skies" was a fabulous location for June 2024 and exploring all the beautiful local sights."
We loved all the walking and chalked up a few miles, the highlights being Sennen Cove to Cape Cornwall and St lves to Zennor.
A sunny evening at the Minack Theatre was both hilarious & memorable!
The house was perfect with its large living area and garden for six adults.

Stunning property can’t fault it! On arrival we had complimentary scones with cream and jam which was a beautiful touch! Property is so well equipped the kitchen has everything you’ll ever need! Hot tub was gorgeous - was all simply stunning thank you so much!

"Absolutely beautiful property."
Best equipped property I have ever stayed at with everything you could possibly need from a fantastic welcome package to plenty of toilet paper! Even our dog had his own treats toy and poo bags supplied. The weather wasn't great but it was lovely to hang out In this beautiful home and spend quality time with the family. . We had a great time spending Christmas here and would love to return

"Beautiful house in one of our favourite areas."
Beds very comfortable. Great facilities and everything we needed. Lovely to have welcome pack which included Prosecco and a cream tea. Very happy generally. Only slight niggle was oven not very clean with oven tray that had been used for chips and not cleaned but just an oversight as every else very clean. Would stay again.

"We thought this was an excellent holiday home, we would have expected that for the price."
Beautiful decor and everything you could wish for. Lovely crockery, glasses etc and well fitted kitchen with generous extras on arrival, cream tea, prosecco, coffee etc. The hot tub and outside facilities were excellent, we would have loved more privacy though. There are good games to enjoy playing and lovely spaces to read and relax. The car port/parking at the front was great. Would highly recommend.

"A wonderful week spent at Sennen Skies."
The house had everything you could wish for, truly luxurious. We were welcomed with a cream tea, Prosecco & coffee. The extra touches for our four legged friend were also fabulous. After being out for the day exploring the beautiful local areas and coastline, returning to relax in the hot tub was a real luxury. The beds were just divine! Any small problems that we had they were sorted very quickly. The service was great. We’d highly recommend Sennen Skies and would love to stay again.

"What a great place to stay!"
The location is excellent for walks to the beach (Sennen Cove). We walked there every day and although it’s a little challenging uphill it’s well worth it. The home has all quality mod cons. Is decorated as if it’s a top class show home and is very comfortable. We were welcomed with Prosecco, some local scones and a welcome pack with necessities. The views towards sennen and lands end are stunning and in a good day you can see the Scilly Isles from your bed. We didn’t want for anything. I would highly recommend this place to anyone. Thanks for making us feel so welcome. We had a blast!

"Can’t speak highly enough about this property."
On arrival the whole family were blown away with this property, attention to detail was to the max, from the welcome hamper that greeted us, to the welcome package that also treated our pets. Xmas decoration were added to the property to give a lovely feel over Xmas.. all the added extras from providing battery’s for the Xmas lights, Xmas crackers, dog food bowls to name a few..
our Xmas break was wonderful and we would 100 % recommend this property, and have looked to book again for the coming summer.. but unfortunately the price for summer 2022 is over double the price we paid for our Xmas break.
