  • "Great property, that was well equipped."

The only thing I would change would be an addition of an outside light, for those dark nights . Would definitely use this property again .

  • "We absolutely loved our very short stay in The Barn, great location, lovely cottage and very comfortable in all aspects."

Sadly it was a little drizzly so we couldn’t enjoy the garden and view but that disappoint our stay in Cornwall. Sorry forgot to write little review in book … P.S. had difficulty in locking the outside door

  • "I personally wouldn’t say it’s family friendly."

When we arrived we had to fix the stair gate to make it close properly, there are brambles hanging low and growing in the ground so my baby couldn’t crawl around outside. It wasn’t cleaned well at all. We had hair on a bar of soap left in one of the bathrooms, the bath mat to stop people slipping in the bath was all mouldy so to bath my child an adult had to sit with them. Only one person could shower at one time due to the water cutting out in the other bathroom. The location of the property was perfect for us but was massively let down by the maintenance and cleanliness of the property. Also the rug in the sitting room doesn’t have an antislip back on which resulted in my husband falling so if you have elderly parents with you or young children they need to be careful when moving around

Thank you for providing a review of your stay. The items you have raised were shared with the owner, our maintenance and housekeeping teams as soon as we were made aware. We do try to address any concerns as soon as they are reported, and we send a first night feedback form to ensure guests have the best possible experience. We are sorry that you had not enjoyed your stay as much as we had liked and send our best wishes - John Bray Cornish Holidays on behalf of the owner. Property Owner

  • "Nice accommodation albeit a little difficult to find!"

Very quiet location. Spacious and clean, well equipped. Not being able to recycle glass was an inconvenience. When staying at the barn it’s advisable to take your provisions with you as there are very limited shops in the immediate area/within walking distance. Nearest large store/supermarket is at Wadebridge.

  • "Fantastic place, we had a great stay."

Perfect for us as a family. 9.30 checkout was too early though. 10.30 would be more reasonable given the price we paid. Other than that, we were super happy and would Love to come back!

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us. We are very happy to hear that The Barn suited you and your family's needs, and that you enjoyed your stay. We look forward to welcoming you back in the future - John Bray Cornish Holidays on behalf of the owner. Property Owner
