  • "We really enjoyed our stay, the bungalow was perfect for our family."

There are a few suggestions we’d like to make which will, in our opinion enhance your stay. 1. A hair dryer would be a good idea in at least one of the bedrooms. 2. An air fryer in the kitchen and a better frying pan. 3. A tumble dryer in the garage. But none of these would stop us from booking again.

  • "For the price we paid we were very disappointed."

Unfortunately there were quite a few things wrong (maintenance) mold in one shower room, shower trap blocked in another ,which we had to clean out . Tap in one bathroom loose came off in hand not one toilet brush in any of five toilets.no hair dryer kitchen and conservatory floors need good clean ,no teaspoons at all (which was rectified) lots of cobwebs in conservatory .the poorest welcome pack we have ever had .It’s a fine big property but really needs some T L C would have expected a lot better for the price,

  • "Very roomy & comfortable property."

Plenty of room for all of us during our stay

  • "A lovely peaceful property, plenty of comfy seating and beautiful bedrooms."

Only negative was that the kitchen equipment was a bit lacking, only just enough crockery and cutlery for those staying meaning needed to be on top of the washing at all times, particularly if wanted to have a larger tree-course meal. Also, more baking tools, yorkshire pudding tray, meat rack, etc. would have been appreciated. A lovely property.

  • "This is a very warm, spacious, comfortable and clean property with an accurate listing."

The whole family loved it. Mark, the owner is very helpful and answered the few questions we had very quickly. The only thing missing was a tumble dryer or a fold out clothes airer, this would be useful on wet days particularly when you have young children in your group. The games room was such good fun with all the board games and the enormous smart tv. St Tudy is a very quiet pretty village. The community run shop is very useful and has a good range of products.

Thank you for your kind words glad you had a nice time in Cornwall i will put a clothes airier on the shopping list Kind regards mark Property Owner

  • "The property was a delight and entirely suited our family of two grandparents, two parents and their two sons."

The only blot on the landscape was that one of the three panes in the back window in the largest bedroom was crazed after an impact of some sort. We discovered this on arrival and immediately emailed Mark about it asking if repairmen might be visiting the property during our week. Oddly, despite two emailed reminders, I never received a reply. It may be that Mark and family were themselves away, and I hope it wasn’t due to a crisis in Mark’s family or anything of that nature. Still, I expected something by way of acknowledgment especially after other reviews describing Mark and Ruby as super hosts.

  • "Basically good, one or two unexpected things."

The door to the dishwasher is faulty, it is very heavy and drops quickly scraped shin!! Clothes dryer broken, very old, reported, replace for the next client.!! Kitchen excellent, but needs more equipment....bowls for microwaving food, Plates to keep food on/in, no tin opener, two saute pans but no frying pan. We had a really good holiday, but meals were a bit of a challenge, little things but noticeable and we paid a lot of money.

  • "The property is located in a beautiful quiet location yet close to all amenities and not far from the beach and other attractions."

The accommodation is super comfortable and bigger then it appears on the pics. It is spotlessly clean and very tastefully designed and decorated. The entertainment room is a major plus as is the spacious outdoor area. I would consider Mark and Ruby as super-hosts. They went out of there way to make our holiday one to remember.
