Alpine Lodge is a pretty, chalet-style holiday home, set within a small group of privately owned properties, offering the ideal base for a peaceful, family break on the North Cornwall coast.
Appointed with gorgeous, vaulted ceilings and a light filled, fresh interior, Alpine Lodge has a breath-taking, countryside outlook and is a very short stroll from Rock beach, wild sand dunes and the network coast paths that glide around the coastline.
Imagine the perfect, traditional wooden beach chalet in Cornwall, with all the comfort and equipment you would expect from a retreat; all of this can be expected from Alpine Lodge.
Park up and walk into a home with an instantly welcoming ambiance.
Upstairs is a light and spacious open-plan living space with a fully-fitted kitchen/diner, well equipped with everything you could need to enjoy some Cornish inspired self-catering.
Sink into the plush sofas after a day beside the sea, play a family board game or you could open up the balcony doors and enjoy evening drinks as dusk falls.
The ground floor comprises of the three bedrooms and family bathroom; the front of the house, the master suite with a king-size bed and en-suite bathroom continues the palette of sophisticated calm tones.
The king-size bedroom, set in the rear of the house is located into the hill and shares the family bathroom with the remaining bunk bedroom.
The ground floor TV room gives a fantastic separate snug for adults or older children to have their own space to curl up and watch their favourite film in the evenings after a blissful day at the beach; this room features a small double sofa bed, that linen can be provided for on request, instead of using both bunk beds.
The outside area provides plenty of seating in the garden, on the patio or you can climb the steps up to the top of the garden and soak in the fresh sea air.
Head out for a stroll through Rock, with its many shops, restaurants and pubs that lead straight to the Camel Estuary and seaside adventures.
Scenic coastal walks are all around with each new route promising better views, so definitely pack your walking boots.
For sailing, power boating and water-skiing head to the Rock Sailing Club or the Camel Sailing and Powerboat Centre.
At Rock you can also catch the ferry across to Padstow to explore this vibrant harbour town and its many fine restaurants including Rick Stein's and Paul Ainsworth.
In the evenings catch the water taxi home against a backdrop of twinkling lights.
Golf enthusiasts can enjoy The St Enodoc Golf Club or The Point at Polzeath Golf Club, both within walking distance from Alpine Lodge.
For some pampering head to the spa's at St Enodoc Hotel or The Point at Polzeath for some me-time.
Surfers and paddle boarders will prefer Polzeath beach further around the headland, where Atlantic swells produce some of Britain's best waves.
Just up the road is the picturesque village of Port Isaac, home to the Doc Martin TV series, the Fisherman's Friends, and a working harbour.
Take time out to eat a bag of fish and chips on the harbour wall as the sun sinks below the horizon - you won't regret it.
All of this awaits at Alpine Lodge.
