The property

Sandy Lodge Rock is a charming detached holiday home, nestled within its own peaceful gardens, just 300 yards from the delightful amenities found in the picturesque Cornish town of Rock.

Sleeping 10 people and accommodating up to two dogs, this stylish abode has ample parking for three to four cars on its private gated drive, and is ideally located for exploring this beautiful coastal area.

Begin your holiday in style by immediately relaxing in the open-plan kitchen, living and dining area, where you can socialise and cook together as a family.

Designed with entertainment in mind, venture further in to the house where you will find a separate lounge, complete with a football table, and a wood burning stove for cosy winter nights.

In the evenings, you need not go far to find your bedroom as there are two on the ground floor, a king-size bedroom and a small double room, plus a family bathroom and handy utility room.

Upstairs are two further king-size bedrooms, sharing another family bathroom, whilst for those looking for peace and solitude away from the main house, the final en-suite double bedroom is across the garden in a separate annex, complete with its own private decking and Juliet balcony, a wonderful spot for sundowners!

Those who love the outdoors will not be disappointed either, as the garden is both spacious and well-designed.

With a beautiful lawn and superb, furnished patio area accessed via the main living area, there are ample places to dine alfresco, relax with a good book, or simply settle down to soak up the Cornish sunshine.

Nearby Rock’s butchers, fish mongers, bakery and other amenities are within a short walk, whilst the pretty family-friendly Daymer Bay is only a short 10-minute drive or 40-minute walk away, providing the ideal spot for a day at the beach, swimming, surfing and sandcastle building.

For foodies, why not catch the ferry from Rock over to Padstow, where you can try out Rick Stein’s famed restaurants and devour ice creams on the harbour side.

With so much to do on the doorstep of Sandy Lodge, this is a very special family retreat in an excellent location.

Note: This property has a Good Housekeeping bond of £200.
