The property

Laurel Lodge is a charming, single-storey holiday tucked away in the Bossiney Bay Holiday Park just short of the southwest coast in the gorgeous province of Cornwall.

From the moment to enter you'll feel right at home as the open-plan space contains all your main living areas which maximise ease and convenience throughout the whole of your stay.

The kitchen has enough equipment so that you can still enjoy your home-cooked classics!

Enjoy these meals at the dining table while you plan what coastal adventures are up next or take to the outdoors and dine alfreso.

Whether you've just eaten or just returned from your travels, the sitting area will make you feel nice and cosy, with the great addition of an electric fire which is perfect for winter nights in.

Make use of the DVD player and enjoy a film while you all discuss the happenings of the day.

When it's time to rest there are two well-appointed rooms on offer, a double and a twin.

The first boasts an en-suite shower room for that added touch of privacy while the twin is ideal for younger guests or even friends sharing.

Before heading out the next morning, freshen up in the bathroom with either a nice soak or a quick rinse, the choice is yours!

Once you're all settled in, no doubt the thirst for adventure will kick in!

Luckily, there's plenty to see and do, starting with the nearby Bossiney Cove which is within walking distance and grants you a lovely spot with views out to sea.

Continue your journey along the coast and you will find other gems such as Merlin's Cave, named after the wizard from the King Arthur legends, and Tintagel Castle which is the supposed Birth Place of King Arthur himself with a cliff-top backdrop plus an on-site cafe and souvenirs.

There's plenty to see inland too like St Nectan's Waterfall and its wildlife-rich surroundings, Vale of Avalon / Arthurian Centre and Bowood Park Hotel & Golf Club should you fancy a bit of sport while you're away.

Why not finish the day off by visiting one of the local pubs or restaurants to enjoy some local grub before heading home?

For a truly lovely experience, be sure to pick Laurel Lodge for your next retreat.

About the location

TINTAGEL

Camelford 5.9 miles; Wadebridge 13 miles.

Tintagel, home of the legendary King Arthur’s Castle, whose ruins dominate the cliffside just outside the village, is a popular but not overcrowded tourist destination, surrounded by the sea, rocky coves and stunning scenery. Several beaches, including nearby Trebarwith Strand and Bossiney Cove, are within easy reach and surfing is the main attraction for those who love the water. Tintagel has several pubs and restaurants and the Old Post Office (National Trust) is a must. For the energetic, the South West Coast Path passes through the village and in both directions it winds its way along the cliffs and down to the water’s edge through dramatic countryside. Head north along the path and within a short distance is the beautiful village of Boscastle with its quaint quay and village pubs for refreshment. Further afield are the surfing meccas of Newquay and Bude, with their resort attractions, while the open spaces of Bodmin Moor, the Eden Project, Padstow, Camel Estuary and Port Isaac are all within a short but scenic drive.
