It was everything we could have asked for. It’s well positioned to explore around Cornwall and the village nearby is a delight. If I was ever in this part of the country again, I’d definitely stay at Kingcup.

  • "Beautiful location and views from the cottage."

Was a little disappointed in the basics not being provided for the week, such as toilet roll and hand soap. I did text at the time but didn't recieve a reply. Stay overall was cosy, but no hoover provided to tidy up after ourselves, which hindered how clean we felt during the week. As would have liked to remove spiders and cobwebs in the wardrobes.

There was so much room for them to run around. The location was great, were booing to go back again next year! The views from the living room/kitchen were beautiful first thing in the morning. Big thanks to Tasha for replying to messages and being so helpful, letting us borrow 2 highchairs and 2 cots which made packing so much easier. When Sykes were not so forthcoming with help/advise. Can't wait to visit again next summer

The property is in a beautiful location with fabulous views out of the enormous picture window in the lounge area. The cottage is well equipped with everything we needed. The bedrooms are also lovely and comfortable. The games room catered for all ages right from babies to older teenagers and beyond! We thought this was fantastic! It is so peaceful at Kingcup cottage so it is nice to go back there after a busy day out and about visiting the lovely surrounding towns and beaches. We would wholeheartedly recommend a stay here and hope to come back again in the future.

Thank you for completing your feedback. We are sorry that you encountered an issue with collecting the key, the new location of the key safe should have been sent to you by our agent. • "We have just returned from a wonderful stay at Kingcup cottage."

It has lovely views and sheep grazing outside the living room window. The accommodation was well equipped with everything you need with comfortable beds and very clean throughout. It has a great games room with lots of toys and board games and a laundry room complete with washing machines tumble driers, irons and boards. I can recommend Sunday dinner at Ring of bells only a mile away. Kingcup is well situated for lovely beaches. Eden project and Lappa valley stream railway great for toddlers our grandchildren loved it there. I can recommend a stay at Kingcup, it does get hot with all the windows but the owners have now provided a fan for the living room, it would be lovely and warm in the colder months. We hope to come again in the future, thank you for a lovely holiday.

  • "Lovely holiday home, the owners had tought of everything."

My husband is a wheelchair user and the property was easy to manouver, but the showers are not suitable, (not the owners fault, as not advertsised as disabled). We found the property very comfortable. The gardens are fantastic.

  • "Pros:- A lovely tidy clean bungalow with beautiful views, very comfortable roomy lounge and well appointed kitchen/diner, 2 good size bedrooms and a nice sized master with an en-suite bathroom and a separate good sized shower/toilet bathroom."

My son and I enjoyed quite a few games on the pool table in the games room provided for us. There is also a large laundry with good appliances and plenty of equipment to meet your laundering needs, baskets, airers, irons and ironing boards etc. Also there are 5 vacuum cleaners enough for each accommodation to use. Another treat is a lovely lake walk on the property with abundant wildlife, it is located a couple of minutes from the complex. And finally there was ample parking for 5 cars all be it a bit far away (100 yards ish) Cons:- Although very lovely and comfy it was very hot even with the double patio doors open, we could have done with a couple of fans to circulate and cool the air in the front room and the bedrooms, also because the doors were wide open we had a lot of flies to deal with (some kind of insect zapper would be good), which was a bit of a pain. Wifi was about 5/6 mbs download speed and not secured which is a bit worrying and quite slow, especially in the evenings with streaming Amazon and my lad on his laptop and phone, could do with upgrading also a small bugbear was having to log in again every morning, also if you use Chrome book you cannot log in. The pool table was great, but it was very hot during the day even with both doors open (a fan would be good), it was also a pain remembering to get 50p pieces to play, I would rather pay say £20 on top of the holiday fee and enjoy unlimited games, but that's just me. Conclusion:- A very enjoyable holiday and would definitely go again, We really loved the peace and tranquillity with the occasional mooing of cows and beautiful bird songs and excellent views. Padstow, Wadebridge and Newquay are a short distance away for amenities such as shopping beaches etc. Finally we would thoroughly recommend Kingcup cottage as a holiday destination.

Thank you for taking the time to complete your feedback. We are glad that you had a lovely holiday and enjoyed both the property and the location. We were sorry to hear of some issues you experienced during your stay. The WiFi for all of our properties is Full Fibre. Over the winter months we plan to carry out some upgrading at the cottage. We would love to welcome you back to the cottage at a future date. Property Owner

The cottage was very clean and comfortable and the view from the lounge/diner and bedrooms was spectacular. The play area and play room were perfect for keeping our children (1 and 3 years old) entertained each morning so that one of us could get packed up for the day. Everything was so well thought out and the planting around the cottages was absolutely beautiful. Even taking a walk to put the laundry on felt special because it was such a lovely place to be. Amazing location too - so close to so many gorgeous beaches. We will be back next year and many after hopefully!

The only let down was the really poor wifi which was non existent when we arrived and there is no phone signal at the cottage.. The place was spotless and very well maintained. Rooms and beds were very comfortable, non of the party had any problems sleeping. Everything you need in a home from home. Check in and check out was very easy, very clear instructions. The additional laundry facilities were also a bonus across the back. Situated close to the local village, 15 minute drive into central Newquay and less than 10 minutes to a huge Tesco. Really enjoyed our stay and we will be booking again in the near future.

  • "This holiday cottage is absolutely beautiful."

The owners had catered for all needs in regards to kitchen equipment and all the little things you may not think of. The whole place is beautiful. The only negative point is the curtains in the bedrooms. They let in so much light. But that is minor and didn’t change the whole experience. We Look forward to returning one day.
