  • "Lovely cottage in a quiet area."

Good parking (for 2 cars). Ideal for the lizard peninsula and even to travel to tintagel. Once inside it was well presented. Our only issue was with shower because the small head fitting to hold it up was missing. Overall a lovely place to stay.

  • "Very comfortable property,well equipped."

Probably the cleanest property we have stayed in. Easy to find once ,we ignored our Sat Nat which took us on a circuitous route

  • "Spacious, well designed house with nice decor."

Very much enjoyed staying there. Beds were good, especially in the bedroom at the front - the mattress was excellent. Liked that it was very quiet at night. Full size fridge freezer. Good quality TV. Plenty of space for parking for 2 cars. The property was clean, but the kitchen could have done with a bit more care on the work surfaces, cupboard shelves and some crockery. Bathroom was good but the shower temperature fluctuated and the holder for the hand held part is broken. Suggestions for improvement are better curtains in front bedroom as they let in way too much light, and put in an extractor fan in the kitchen (not just filter fan) to properly vent out cooking/washing up steam. Didn't use the dishwasher as there were not enough place settings to make it worthwhile. Liked the deep draining board to keep down the splashes. A second key would also be very helpful - it was kind of the owner to respond quickly to my text asking about a spare key, but it was a bit inconvenient only having 1 key between us.

  • "A great property for visiting and exploring the south coast."

Perfect location for Helston, Porthleven and Lizard. Lots of local shops and places to eat. A great house. Everything you’d expect for a holiday home. Well kept and clean. Would recommend staying here. It was particularly hot when we stayed so taking a fan would have been a great choice. It was warm at night.
