  • "The Dynar is beautifully done."

I loved it. The beds were so comfy and everything was spotless. A real bonus to have double beds and not twins. It was such a pleasure to stay in. I loved it.

Thank you very much for your feedback, we are glad you enjoyed your stay at The Dynar. Property Owner

  • "Lovely place - clean, tidy, well equipped and comfortable Only thing i would say is the heating was still on in July and so the apartment got very hot and we couldn’t figure out how to turn it off."

Thank you very much for your feedback, we are glad you enjoyed your break. We have the heating controlled so it will come on once it goes below a certain temperature within the apartment, we will monitor this and see whether we need to adjust anything. With best wishes. Property Owner

  • "Recycling options IN the flat would be preferable."

The heating was an issue. As in, we couldn’t turn it off completely and the flat was BOILING when we arrived. And never were able to turn it off to zero during our stay in July. On the up side, we loved the complimentary beer, popcorn and shower gels/soaps. The flat was tidy and fairly clean. Duvets were too much given the central heating options.. so sheets would be good too. No views whatsoever out of the windows, which were filthy but clearly difficult to access and so clean. (Seagull and Pidgeon poo) Advice on how steep the staircase is would be a good heads up too. I have cancer and the stairs were a struggle. Super Steeper than the norm.. but I managed ish. Thank you for the teas and coffee sachets.. All in all in served it’s purpose. And for that we are thankful. TVs in each room was a blessing too. Thank you

  • "Great location however the Beehive club next door is awful if you are thinking about booking this be mindful that you will not get any sleep Thursday to Sunday morning."

Everyone comes out of the club at 3am and stay one the street outside until silly o’clock. We left today at 4am and police were just outside because of fighting. No ideal at all Bathroom needs resealing as looks really scruffy and the nets at the window are awful. Our friends were next door and the noise for them was awful

  • "The property was lovely and clean and modern, very well presented and cared for."

Loved the little touch with the welcome tray thank you, the beer and biscuits went down well on the first night. Personally the mattress and pillows were too soft, but that's just me. It would have been nice to be able to open the windows in the bedroom as it was very warm. A very enjoyable stay at The Dynar.

  • "The apartment was excellent, so clean, good location, well equipped."

My only comment would be a couple of coat hooks for outdoor coats would be useful! Otherwise excellent, would definitely recommend.

Hi Jackie, Thank you so much for your kind feedback. We are very glad to hear you enjoyed your stay. I will look into installing some coat hooks onto the door. We hope to welcome you back soon :) Property Owner

With a name paying homage to its heritage (Dynar being Cornish for coin), this former bank is the perfect base for couples, a small family or even a or solo traveller and their furry friends to explore this scenic county, complete with Smart TVs and finishing touches such as complimentary slippers and toiletries.

Take the stairs up to the apartment, where an inviting kitchen/living room offers all you need for a relaxed, self-catering stay, including a handy washer/dryer; rustle up dinner for your other half before enjoying a film on the Smart TV as you cuddle up.

Get some rest in one of two bedrooms, also fitted with Smart TV and a plush double bed, perfect for lazy mornings.

Wake up with a shower in the shower room and get ready for the day while wrapped in a toasty towel, courtesy of the heated towel rail.

Step out onto the local high street, where you will find a fabulous selection of shops, pubs and restaurants to choose from when you don't fancy cooking; the town of Helston has everything you need for staying in or going out!

Within the town, you can explore the local history with a visit to the Museum of Cornish Life.

Just a few miles away you can find a wealth of beaches and coves to discover, including Porthleven Beach, Low Bar and Nichols Cove.

In Porthleven, you can find Porthleven Harbour, a historical harbour known for its picturesque views, as well as a handful of charming eateries.

Further afield, the beautiful town of Falmouth offers a culture-filled day out; make your way around Penryn Museum or perhaps venture down to the Castle View Beach for views over Pendennis Castle, which you can later head down to for some of the best estuary views in the area.
