  • "Charming, relaxing, excellent quality of amenities and a wonderful location."

It’s on a working farm and the owner and her staff were all very friendly and helpful but never intrusive. Plenty of interesting places to visit within a 10 mile radius. Dog friendly. One of the best short getaway holidays we’ve ever had and will definitely recommend to our friends and family. We hope to book another stay very soon.

There are lots of great day trips within close proximity, lovely walks on the doorstep and a fab little cafe just up the road - the Barn Cafe. There are also lots of lovely pubs nearby, we'd highly recommend the Foxham and the Dumb Post Inn (the latter has fab views).

There were lots of interesting places to visit within easy reach in all directions, but it was also very enjoyable just to stay ‘home’ and relax in this fabulous barn conversion. The beds and chairs were comfortable, and the kitchen was large and well-equipped for a holiday let. The hosts and the staff at the beautiful Cadenham Manor were friendly and helpful, and the history of the surrounding buildings, as well as the various animals on the farm, added to the pleasure of our stay. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it.

We had a very enjoyable few days here (despite the British weather). Clean, comfortable and with everything you need for a relaxing stay - large kitchen area, log burner, wifi for the kids! Very easy to find, close to local pubs, a cafe and easy access to the M4. Most places nearby are dog friendly, there’s good local walks & the dedicated dog walking field in Foxham make it a great place to stay if you have a pet with you Owners were very helpful and friendly and the bantam eggs for breakfast were a lovely treat. I loved the feeling of space with the amazing high ceiling and stone floors. Very warm and cosy which is just what you need in February. Spotlessly clean with gorgeous comfortable beds and seating. Very convenient for visiting lots of nearby interesting dog friendly places. Victoria was a lovely host, checking in on us and delivering a lovely flower arrangement from her garden. I loved it when the chickens stopped by and the sound of the cows. It’s a working farm so dogs need to be on leads and children need to be supervised as there is no enclosed outdoor space. It’s a really beautiful setting, I wouldn’t hesitate to return!

It appears to date back to 1753 and has been respectfully restored and then well equipped. It was a very comfortable base for 2 adults, 1 child and a dog. The hosts Victoria & Martin, were amazing. Victoria gave us flowers and fresh salad from their garden and was available if required. What was particularly nice was Victoria spending time with our daughter chatting about the farm. It is a working farm but during our visit it was very quiet. If you can, try to arrange to visit the hosts private garden, it's wonderful. We definitely recommend this property. The Foxham which is a short walk away from the cottage is also well worth a visit.

Very spacious and well laid out. Everything looks new. Owner very friendly and helpful. Well equipped. If we had had more detail about what was provided we would have brought less with us. Plenty of drawer space, but not many hangers (or room to hang clothes) particularly in upstairs bedroom. Very good bath with shower. A grab rail for shower would have been helpful for older people. Young children will need to be supervised outdoors due to occasional tractor passing by.
