  • "The cottage was an ideal location to cater for a family meet-up and only a short walk into Broadway."

A very spacious and well equipped cottage with plenty of parking. The cottage was of a very high standard and one of the best we have ever stayed in. The grandchildren and adults enjoyed the games room. 10/10

  • "The house was ideal for three generations with plenty of room for all."

It was well equipped and very comfortable. The garden was great for the children and dog and had a nice table and chairs which we used whenever the weather allowed. The only downside of the property was the very poor water pressure which meant we could only use one shower at a time which wasn’t ideal. Hopefully this will be resolved for others.

Thank you for your feedback. I understand from Severn Trent that the water pressure issue was a district wide problem affecting a number of properties and can only apologise for this inconvenience. Property Owner

The cottage is lovely - spacious and very comfortable. The guest information needs updating.

  • "Lovely property, great position 5 minutes walk from town, comfy beds and dog safe garden, had a really lovey stay and great fun in games shed."

Only small criticism about lack of basic cleaning equipment. Didn’t find dust pan till Monday evening , in wood basket, perhaps need a company set by wood burner.J Clothes , black bin bags, cleaners and toilet rolls not enough for 8 adults for a week. Couldn’t wipe wood floor (only sweep with broom) as no mop or equivalent available. But a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend.

Many thanks for your feedback and lovely to hear that you enjoyed your stay at Apple Tree Cottage...thank you also for your comments re provisions, we do leave a generous supply for guests for the first few days of their stay, but, as the cottage is self-catering, further provisions may of course need to be purchased. • "A great property, modern, clean and good location."

We really enjoyed our stay. The only small criticism would be the checking in time. 4.30pm seems late especially when check out is 10am. Could this not be changed to 2 or 3?

  • "Beautiful house located in a perfect place for exploring the town."

Great for larger groups where you need lots of space. Minor points, instructions on when the bins are emptied were not correct. Hot water tap not the type as described.

Thank you for your feedback, lovely to hear you enjoyed your stay at Apple Tree Cottage. Unfortunately, we have recently had to remove the Quooker style kitchen tap (for health and safety reasons), but there is of course still a conventional hot water tap. Apologies if you had issues with the bins, we have double checked and the information provided with regard to collection is correct. Thanks again for your booking. Property Manager. Property Owner

We all felt we were in the lap of luxury. The garden was great for the little ones to play in. Certainly a special place to stay in.

  • "Excellent property - spacious, clean, comfortable."

Lovely garden and games room, and a short walk to the village. Very helpful property manager. Given the space in the house, a larger king bed in the main bedroom would be preferable. All in all this is a first rate property and in excellent condition.

  • "We found the cottage beautifully clean, in sparkling order with a very spacious, modern interior especially the kitchen/dining area, and sitting room overlooking the large garden that is private."

Apple Tree Cottage is ideal for Broadway. There is somewhat of a drawback that it is situated on a private road, and the maintenance is not too good especially for a wheel chair. This also applied to the 100% gravel drive to the house from the gates. Those who have mobility problems need to give thought to these points. You could suffer damage to a wheel chair. A further point is taking the bins to the bottom of the road on a Thurs. can be a hassle. Surprised no other bin bag provided, apart from the one already in the bin. Directions, instructions regarding the cottage worked well. In all, a lovely stay.

If I had one comment and all my party felt the same is that the beds were a bit hard but apart from that everything was first class.

  • "The house and location were perfect for our needs."

It was very comfortable with lots of great touches. Just fyi - The driving instructions were not great - it took us a long time to figure out where the house was. Very difficult to find in the dark. The instructions were incorrect about the garbage collection day - we put the garbage out on the specified day but was told by the neighbour it was wrong.

  • "Apple Tree cottage is one of the best houses we have stayed in."

The location is second to none. We had two families and there were still plenty of room. The garden was well kept which the children and dogs enjoyed. The only positive feedback/criticism I could give is that being 6ft1 the towels are quite small!

  • "Everything about this property was perfect."

The house and gardens were actually picture than the pictures suggested. We were 10 adults ranging in age, a toddler and a dog and it was great for us all. The enclosed gardens suited an adventurous dog and toddler with enough room for all to enjoy. The games room was a nice bonus and we were happy to find a BBQ and gas we could use in the sunny weather. It was lovely to have enough furniture and seats for 8 adults which is not always the case. The interior of the house was incredible and well looked after. The modern kitchen was well used and had everything you needed. Only a short walk into the town for walks and an easy drive out to explore the area. We will definitely return and could not fault anything.

Alot of privacy and security which made us feel extra safe. I would only suggest to possibly provide some clothing detergent and some tongs in the kitchen however, everything else we thought wouldn't be provided was :)

  • "Lovely property which is even roomier than described, really great quiet spot close to the centre."

Games hut was a big plus for the children, Only negative would be lack of kitchen tongs and cheese knife. Also only just enough plates etc so had to wash up every time. Instruction for the log burner would help some people. Overall very happy, apart from admin problems previously discussed. Thanks and happy New year.

Thanks for the useful feedback and we have now addressed those issues you have mentioned Property Owner

The house was in a very clean welcoming condition. Easy to follow guide book to all the electrical items in the house and simple guide on house rules and things in the local area . All of the neighbours are so friendly we even got to meet a miniature pony who lived as a neighbour while out delivering some Christmas gifts ! The house was very spacious for our family Christmas celebrations . We had two dogs and it’s an amazing area for walks and local amenities were a short walk from the house . More than ample parking , large secure garden and a games hut . The bedrooms were all beautiful set up and linen / towels etc all provided . We had the option of a washing machine/ tumble drier which was great having a baby with us . Again they had a high chair , stair gate and baby feeding items etc already provided which saved us lots of extra packing. We had the most magical family Christmas so much was down the house and it’s really amazing communal style layout . We could all be together without being on top of one another yet there was also places to go for some quieter time if needed. We honestly can’t recommend this house enough , the owners too are also the most helpful and lovely people . We are hoping to return very soon!

  • "Apple Tree Cottage is perfectly located to access Broadway as the high street is only a 5-10 minute walk away."

The house has plenty of room downstairs with a lovely large kitchen and lounge area. The garden was perfect for our dogs and there is plenty of parking space. The beds are comfortable and the facilities are everything you would expect from a place of this standard. The house itself is tucked away in a secluded lane that gives you privacy and a feeling that you are further away from the town than you really are. You can easily access everything the Cotswolds has to offer from this location. We really enjoyed our time at the house and wouldn’t hesitate to go back. Thank you.
