  • "This is a superb cottage and perfect for couples or friends."

It was lovely and clean and has all crockery, cutlery, pots and pans needed. The only thing I would feedback on, and it certainly didn’t impact our stay, would be to provide cleaning products/ cloths so guest can keep the kitchen/ bathrooms clean. The walk down the main road to the field that you walk across into Broadway is a bit scary as it’s so busy and no path, but it’s only for 5 mins. We would definitely visit again.

  • "Beautiful cottage, we had an amazing week here."

Lovely clean cottage with lots of space for a family of 5. Love that the front gate locked and enclosed the whole property/garden to make it safe for my 2 year old. It was a quiet location itself which was lovely but not far in the car from supermarket, village etc.. Large fridge in the kitchen and half size freezer meant we could stock up at the beginning of the week so did not require constant trips to supermarket etc... We ate meals in the cottage most nights and found there were plenty of pans/cups etc to do this comfortably however some cooking utensils could do with an update as didn't work very well (peeler, tongs, serving spoon). Overall, would definitely recommend this property and location.

The cottage is sited in a lovely rural location and has a great heating system. However, we found the furnishings in the lounge are in need of an update and we found the mattresses in the bedrooms too soft and in need of replacement. Loads of room and excellent facilities. Very clean and tidy and beds comfortable. The use of the garage comes in really handy for extra storage space. Great secluded garden too. Quite a busy road outside, can be a bit noisy during the morning, earplugs came in handy. You can walk straight into Broadway from the cottage, takes about 20 minutes but it is a bit overgrown in places and you pass through a field with a few nosey cows lol, but worth it. Great shops and restaurants in Broadway. We ate in the New Inn in Willersey too (which you can walk to from the house too) and that was lovely. Would highly recommend Glencoe cottage, we loved every minute.

  • "We really enjoyed our stay and would certainly consider returning."

Glencoe has been thoughtfully converted to holiday accommodation, has a particularly well-equipped kitchen and with two families we appreciated having two lovely bathrooms and a downstairs loo and utility area. The central heating works well and the log burner was a great asset too. The living area has a very practical tiled floor and a quirky but, in our opinion, not very comfortable sofa. Bedrooms and bathrooms exceeded our expectations, whilst (possibly personal preference again) we found the beds in the two main bedrooms very soft and bouncy. It's possible to walk into Broadway village across the fields on public footpaths, which took us 30-45 minutes. The only negative is the location; this provides beautiful rural views and is quiet at night, but is on a through road which is busy at most times of the day. Whilst there is off road parking which just takes two cars, the gate is a little narrow and reversing in (or out!) needs a very careful eye on approaching traffic.

We especially liked the secure back garden for our dog. The beds were extremely comfortable with good quality linen. The kitchen was well stocked with both cutlery and crockery, everything you could need. We were unable to get the dishwasher working, but the owner resolved this quickly and without any fuss. We feel the 3rd bedroom could do with a few pictures to brighten it up. The only downside is that it's difficult to go for a walk directly from the house as there is no paved area, but this was not unexpected. All in all a very good experience and would recommend.

The facilities were excellent, with a good garden outside foe outside eating. While the master bedroom had a wardrobe the other two bedrooms lacked facilities to hang clothes. The access to the Cottage itself had a difficult road access if you were using two cars. The outside road was busy through the day making it difficult to reverse into the drive safely. Helen and her family are such welcoming and friendly hosts, they made us feel at home straight away. The cottage itself is beautiful, well kitted out and immaculately clean. The rooms are spacious, bright and airy. The kitchen is small but perfectly functional, there is a lovely patio and garden. All the facilities we needed for our stay were provided. The owners living next door meant that we didn't have to wait more than half an hour for a problem with the boiler to be fixed. The cottage is located away from Broadway town centre so a car would be needed to get around, but if you are a keen walker, you can get into town using the footpaths just opposite the cottage. Our only disappointment was that we hadn't booked a longer stay but we will be back.
