• "This property in a peaceful setting has everything you could possibly need, including welcome biscuits after our long journey and one for the dog."

  Even spare poop bags. Such well stocked kitchen cupboards full of crockery for every eventuality -having guests for afternoon tea or cooking a casserole for dinner. A comfortable lounge/dining are with windows looking right across to the hills. A great open space for our dog to run and sniff out rabbits if she wished. Large bathroom and very comfortable bed. So convenient for Broadway itself. Walkable and great location for exploring further afield. We hope to return.

  We have holidayed in log cabins in most parts of the country and this is by far the best. Lots of places if for 4 people have 4 pots 4 plates etc,not this one was by far the best with everything and more . than you could possibly need With a large grassed area the dog was delighted

  The idyllic Lodge is perfect for relaxation and is as excellent as it appears in the photos - Light, spacious, immaculately clean and with those wonderful views. Communication with wonderful hosts Judi and Glenn was brilliant, including being warmly greeted on arrival. Comfortable beds, and so handy sensor night lights in the impressive en-suites. Great to stroll in the grounds, which were also ideal for family visiting with their dog. Easy walk to Broadway, with the historic steam railway station on route. We so loved our stay and so hope to return. Thank you so much again.

• "What an amazing find."

  Broadway village is on the same road as Pennylands and is literally a mile away which is perfect if you like a tipple or two. Judi and Glen were perfect hosts and have equipped the lodge’s with everything you need. We had a fully English breakfast several days and I made us dinner one evening too. The open plan living made it a joy for me to cook whilst looking at the stunning views. The beds were so comfortable and each bed had firm and soft pillows. There are two fantastic en-suite bathrooms which was brilliant as we were a party of two couples. We had the twin room which made a nice change as my other half fidgets. There were complimentary sachets of hot chocolate and a selection of biscuits waiting for us along with milk, tea, coffee, sugar and several cleaning and bathing products which was very welcomed. In our opinion the lodges are first class and the location is perfect. We ate at the Swan which was delicious. We also tried a chippy tea take away from Russell’s Fish & Chips which was so reasonably priced and actually cheaper than where we live in Four Oaks, Sutton Coldfield. We would recommend a visit to Bourton-on-the-Water and Moreton in the Marsh. All in all, a thoroughly relaxing and enjoyable stay with amazing hosts that are on hand and really helpful.

  Willow Lodge lodge was all supplied with the facilities needed, the cleanliness was first class. Also very good was the various wellcome packs supplied by Judi, thank you. The large field was a bonus which Sadie the dog enjoyed. All in all Willow Lodge was a terrific stay which we really enjoyed and we would certainly recommend to others. Thank you all once again. • "We stayed in this beautiful lodge for the August Bank Holiday weekend."

  2 couples & a small dog. This place is just gorgeous. We were met by the owners, a lovely couple who were very friendly & welcoming. A lovely touch by the owners of some milk, tea, sugar , coffee & an assortment of biscuits on arrival. The lodge was spotlessly clean, the beds were super comfy & the kitchen was well stocked of crockery, saucepans, cutlery etc. The TV as a built-in Dvd & there was plenty of dvds to choose from & books if you fancied a read. Everything was thought of! It was roughly a ten minute walk into the village of Broadway, a beautiful place with shops, cafes, pubs & restaurants. We did the walk along the cotswold way upto Broadway Tower where the views are absolutely amazing! This property is wonderful, definitely recommend to our friends & would definitely return in the future.

  Judi and Glen warmly welcomed us and gave lots of information about the nearby pubs and eateries. The lodge was spotlessly clean, very well equipped and extremely comfortable. A plus for our dog was the large area in front that he could run around to his hearts content! The cake, biscuits,sweets and milk were a very nice touch. Highly recommended and situated in a fantastic, quiet spot which was very close to many attractions and well known areas. We will definitely return!

• "This was our second visit to this lovely lodge."

  Owners friendly and close by if required. Facilities and cleanliness in the lodge are excellent. There's a huge garden outside the lodge which was great for exercising our dog. Broadway is about a mile away and easy to walk to with plenty of places to eat and shop for groceries and gifts. Recommend this property and hope to go back again in the future.

  Very warm welcome from Judi and Glen. The lodge itself was very clean and comfortable and there were some nice little touches such as a welcome cake, milk and tea (very useful after our journey) and the dog blanket and towel. Had all the facilities and kitchen utensils needed (although please sharpen the knives!) Grounds were great for the dog although mine was rather inquisitive and a bit of a wanderer so would have liked a more secure gate from the driveway onto the main road, he was trying to venture up the driveway. Would be very happy to stay here again and would highly recommend. Lovely, lovely place.

• "We had a lovely break at Willow Lodge."

  Accommodation is very clean,comfortable, good size for a family of 3 or 4 and has all the expected facilities. Owners friendly and met us when we arrived and checked all was okay during our stay. Property is dog friendly too with huge area of grass right outside the front doors to exercise. The owners had left a dog bowl, towel and some treats too for our four legged friend! Broadway is very picturesque and only 15 mins walk away. Plenty of shops and places to eat and drink and take-aways if required. Some good walks and other sites to visit in the area without having to travel far. Highly recommended and would go back if we get the chance again.

• "What a find!"

  !!!…. Have just had the best week in Broadway and the Cotswolds. The lodge is perfect, so nice, clean & very comfy. The hosts are lovely, & really take care of the little things…. Like cakes on arrival, milk in the fridge & teas/coffees supplied for a cuppa, toiletries in the bathroom, tablets & powder for dishwasher & washing machine. The list goes on….. And even supplies for the doggy guests too!!! The garden is amazing, and dog can be off the lead to go exploring. Location perfect too… Short walk to village, and short drives to surrounding villages for days out. All in all a very enjoyable holiday. Thank you

• "We were celebrating our Golden Wedding We were met by the hosts who helped us carry our baggage down to the cottage."

  My sister in law who had travelled with us has recently had a spinal operation, and was finding walking a challenge. She was assisted down to the cottage. It was December 15th When I walked in the door of the chalet there was a fully decorated Christmas tree and on the dining room table a vase with an arrangement of yellow roses and a card wishing us all the best for the occasion. We had a wonderful stay. The chalet met all our needs. It was clean light warm and convenient. During the week we were able to meet with some of our friends on different days. They had both attended our wedding in Nairobi. One was a bridesmaid. Our son and his family farm nearby and were also able to visit on different occasions. The chalet had double doors that opened out on a veranda. This enabled us to keep to the then restrictions of being able to meet six people outside. We were most impressed by the thought and care that had obviously gone into the arrangement of the chalets. I was able to work on my son's farm during the week. When I returned it was getting dark and the security lights came on and the path down to the chalet door was lit by fairy lights. It was details like this that impressed us. There was cake, tea and milk inside the lodge which was lovely after a long drive. The location is great being only 10 mins walk from the gorgeous village of Broadway.   The Lodge was very clean with everything you need, it was so cosy and warm to return to after a day out. It has a lovely view with lots of wildlife to watch and the field ideal for our dog. The Lodge is ideally situated just outside Broadway which has a very good supermarket and range of eating places, perfectly positioned for visiting the Cotswolds and surrounding areas. We had a lovely time and highly recommend Pennylands, Willow Lodge.
