  • "Just back from a lovely stay at The forest coach house."

The cottage is perfect and a home away from home. Very clean and has everything you needed. Tracey was a wonderful host, there if you needed her but otherwise left to go about your holiday as you wish. The cottage is a short walk to Cinderford town centre, where you will be greeted by an array of shops and plenty of food establishments. The golden lion pub in Cinderford was very welcoming and family friendly, highly recommend a visit. Perrygrove railway is a short drive away and perfect for children, as is the Wye butterfly zoo. All in all myself, my husband and our 2 and a half year old daughter had a wonderful time. We will definitely be returning to this gem of a cottage when we back visiting the beautiful Forest of Dean. Thankyou Forest coach house for a fantastic break! And thankyou for the treats left on our arrival.

You’re very welcome and it sounds like you had lots of fun in the area! Thanks for choosing the Forest Coach House and you’d be made very welcome if ever you return to the Forest of Dean & Wye Valley. Property Owner

  • "From the outset, even before arrival the contact from Tracey the owner was first class."

The dog treats and chocolates on arrival were a very nice surprise. I can honestly say that this is a truly exceptional holiday cottage and certainly the best cottage we have stayed in over the many years exploring the UK. It was exceptionally clean and had everything you needed for a home away from home. Being located next to the Forest of Dean, makes it the perfect base for exploring the forest, with multiple walking options only a short drive away. The secure pet friendly garden, means that your dog is free to safely explore. Whilst we didn't have the best weather during the week we stayed, the quality of the accommodation more than made up for it. It is a cottage and location that we will definitely be returning to.

Thank you for your super review. I am so happy you enjoyed your stay. There is such an overwhelming choice of lovely places to stay these days, so I’m especially proud that not only did you choose the Forest Coach House but you enjoyed it as much as you did. You’d be made very welcome should you choose to visit again and with so many thousands of woodland acres to explore throughout the seasons, it never gets boring! Property Owner

  • "A great property for exploring the area - had everything you need and extremely clean and well looked after."

Tracey was a great host always on hand if anything needed. Also great recommendations for eating - The Miners at Sling (especially on a Monday!), Speech House and Moody Cow at Upton Bishop. Frydays in Littledean - great chippy! No hesitation in recommending this property

Thanks for your review. I’m so pleased you enjoyed your dining experiences and Fridays in Littledean is always busy! I am just next door and around if needed, but I do respect my guests’ privacy and missed you completely on the day of departure! Thanks for staying, you were so lucky with the wonderful weather. Best wishes, Tracey Property Owner

  • "We immediately felt at home in this lovely Coach House."

The house is adorned with interesting quotes and lovely ornaments. We found the house extremely clean and very well equipped. We had everything we needed for our weeks stay and in addition we found complimentary Prosecco, Chocs and even treats for our pooch in the fridge on arrival. The house is in a great location for visits into the Forest of Dean and all the lovely scenic walks. Tracey is a lovely helpful host who was always on hand should any problem arise and I can thoroughly recommend a stay at The Forest Coach House.

It was good to see a garden that was safe, secure and dog friendly. As the football was on tv a second tv could have provided entertainment for females in the party. A good range of shops and facilities nearby, together with clear routes to many places of interst.m
