  • "The property was gorgeous."

The only criticism we had was the fact that we didn't realise it was on a main road so the traffic noise in the morning we hadn't expected. Saying that we soon got used to it. We all loved how modern and spacious the home was and the Hot tub, loungers and BBQ were definitely made use of. I would certainly recommend staying here. I would also love to come back. Thank you for a fabulous stay at Millside.

  • "Absolutely amazing property which had everything we could have possibly needed."

We stayed there with our daughter, son-in-law and granddaughter (along with our St Bernard!) and the house worked perfectly for us. Location was fantastic, cleanliness of the house amazing, facilities brilliant...we loved it! We had a slight issue with the gate but Steve came out straight away and sorted that for us. I would highly recommend this property and look forward to having the opportunity to stay there again...if they will have us :)

Thank you Julie for your lovely comments, we are so pleased you enjoyed your stay, thank you also for leaving the house so clean and tidy, it is really appreciated. We would love to welcome you back to Millside, with your four legged friend as well. Thank you again, and we look forward to seeing you in the not too distant future. All the best. Comfortable and fantastic facilities. Perfect for our family gathering for the Bank Holiday weekend. We stayed on for the remaining of the week; my wife and I plus my parents. We were able to explore the Cotswolds which made Millside the perfect home from home; great location and the perfect home. We will definitely be recommending to our friends and we hope to be back again. Thank you to Steve & Diana for letting us enjoy your lovely home @ Millside.

  • "This was a lovely home, my genuine dream house would not be far off this."

It accommodated our large group very well, space wasn't an issue and facilities were great. The location was also very close to a little town, so you can get supplies within minutes. The only real negative was the 2 upstairs master bedrooms have skylights directly above the bed with no blinds! So if you're up late with friends make sure you bring an eye mask or you'll be up at sunrise. Otherwise it was lovely, with ample parking very well kept.

  • "We had a great stay at Millside."

The house is fantastic & equipped to a high standard. The kids (& bigger kids!) loved the games room which provided fun times whilst we were in the house as well as the lovely hot tub. Steve (the owner) has clearly made sure there is something for all generations to enjoy. The outside space is also a pleasant area & although the weather prevented us taking advantage of it I imagine in better weather you could spend whole days just in the accommodation. Its location is ideal for exploring the Cotswolds & local experiences such as Alpaca walking & Birds of Prey, both a 25 minute drive away. There were also a few pubs within walking distance when we didn’t want to drive. Credit too to Abi for presenting the house spotlessly clean. Considering it’s size & the time between changeovers she clearly does an excellent job & whilst this is a ‘dog friendly’ house, you’d be hard pressed to note any dogs had been in the property. Additionally she was readily contactable to answer any questions we had. Overall we would highly recommend Millside as a suitable Cotswold location that provides for all generations. Thank you Steve for providing such a wonderful accommodation & for the ‘special Birthday’ touch provided on our arrival. Much appreciated

Dear Nigel and family, thank you for your kind words, it was a pleasure to have you stay, please come back as soon as your heart desires. All the best Steve julie and Abi Property Owner

The property was spotless, spacious and high end. The owners were amazing and communication was brilliant. Millside is a wonderful home away from home with a spacious and fully equipped kitchen, wonderful touches left such as dishwasher tablets and laundry tablets which you don’t get in most properties now. The pool table was a huge hit. Spacious and clean and brilliant location. We will be returning in the near future. Thank you Steve and Julie!

Staying at Millside was a real break from reality; a beautifully unique home where everything felt extremely well thought out. We had a really comfortable 4-night stay and enjoyed relaxing in the house and hot tub as much as exploring the local area. Nailsworth is a friendly town with lots of interesting places to discover and lovely walks in the area. The local Morrisons was also more than large enough to provision us for our stay. Many thanks to the owners Steve and Julie for the stay, we would all recommend Millside in a heartbeat. Have a great Christmas and New Year! Tristan and family

Our group comprised of 6 adults and 6 children aged between 1 and 13. The facilities on offer catered for everyone’s needs. The older children loved the games room and hot tub, and everything that was needed for a 1 year old was on hand. The property is finished to an extremely high standard, was exceptionally clean and very well stocked with regard to cooking equipment, crockery, glasses etc…. The location is very convenient for walking into Nailsworth, where there are ample shops to pick up any forgotten supplies. We enjoyed a lovely walk around Woodchester Park on the Saturday and would recommend this to anyone who wants to stretch their legs while staying at Millside.

  • "An absolutely wonderful property."

The description does not do it justice! As a group of 10, we could not find any fault in the property in any way; it was everything you would expect from a cottage or accommodation. The owners, Steve, Abby, and Julie, were lovely people who dealt with my queries promptly. As it was October, the weather was a little chilly, but the underfloor heating on the ground floor was amazing. The house was so warm, we didn't need to use the woodburning stove. As a family, we've been on quite a few cottage breaks over the years, but this has to be the most exceptional so far.We loved our stay. Thank you, Steve, Julie, and Abby.

Thank you so much for your kind words Bibi, it was so lovely to have you and your family stay at our house. We would like to thank you again for leaving Millside so neat and tidy, it made the change over for the next guests so easy, please come back soon. Steve, Julie and Abi. Property Owner

  • "Our family had the pleasure of spending the first week of half term at Millside."

To put my review into context, we are fortunate to stay at many houses around the world, as well at extremely luxurious five star hotel. However we found Millside to be at the very top of our recent holidays. The time and thought that has gone into the renovation of the house is exceptional. Everything that a family would need is catered for by the owners. With it being the UK and October, the weather was against us, however with such a wealth of amenities at the property from the games room to the hot tub; this was not a problem. I cannot speak highly enough of our stay. Our children have already enquires when we are to return. We will defiantly coming back.

Thank you Tim for your kind words, to have a guest be as happy with there stay, is as much as we can ask. We look forward to welcoming you and your family back at Millside, in the not to distant future. Thank you again. Steve luff (owner) Property Owner
