  • "Beutiful cottage."

Wonderful setting. Comfortable lounge area with plenty of seating. The kitchen with large dining table was well laid out and had everything that we needed and more. I especially liked the teapot. So many places expect you to make your tea in a cup. The bedrooms were well-equipped with both drawers and hanging spaces and the beds were very comfortable. The bedding was of very good quality so a good sleep was guaranteed. Mary was a great host who told us of various places of interest and places to eat and she was available to help if needed. Altogether a wonderful place to relax and take a break from the world for while. Highly recommended.

Thank you for yoru feedback and for the wonderful comments, I know the Owner Mary will be delighted to hear you loved the barn and area, it's a real home from home. We would love to welcome you again in the future for another holiday. Kind regards Manor Cottage Property Owner

  • "Beautiful property and Location."

Very remote for those wanting urban activity . With teenagers noting the Internet didn’t work at all. Bath towels were too small for a luxury location. Very attentive hosts.

Thank you for sharing your feedback and we're glad you loved the property and location. We're sorry if you encountered issues with the internet although we do stress that as this is a rural area the internet speed may not always be what you are used to. We have passed your comments on to the owners and hope this didn't impact your stay. Best wishes Manor Cottages Property Owner

  • "We had a very enjoyable stay in this country barn conversion."

Mary was very welcoming & always on hand to answer any queries. The property is very spacious & in a delightful, peaceful location. Ledbury is close by as are many other tourist attractions including the Malverns and the city of Hereford with its fascinating Mappa Mundi. We particularly enjoyed our trip to Weston’s Cider Mill. Booking a table for something to eat advisable beforehand.

Thank you so much for your lovely feedback. It's great to hear that you enjoyed your time at Whites Farm Barn, it really is a stunning property! We hope that we can welcome you again one day soon and thank you once again for your lovely words. Best wishes, Manor Cottages. Property Owner

They are available for any questions and needs. The barn is beautiful, the kitchen is very well equipped for cooking. Great location for trips out into the area.

  • "We loved the rural, peaceful location of Whites Farm Barn and the fact you could go on a walk from its door."

It was a great base to visit - amongst others - Hereford Cathedral and the Mappa Mundi, Llanthony Priory (great cafe!), Kilpeck Church and Hay on Wye (for the book lovers). Ledbury is a foodie’s heaven - The Olive Tree (Italian restaurant) and The Malthouse Gallery & Cafe (I would return just for the sausage roll Ploughman’s!) We shall definitely be back…

We cannot wait for you to return! Property Owner

  • "Lovely house and peaceful spot."

But WiFi was an issue, it was virtually non existent. Whilst I understand that fibre optics hasn’t been installed in the village yet - it didn’t help that the cottage didn’t have its own router but relied on a booster from the main house. I am afraid that nowadays reliable internet is important, particularly in a house of this standard. Hence the three stars.

Thank you very much for your feedback about Whites Farm Barn. We are you felt the WIFI was inadequate. Sadly, as we are in the countryside a lot of plces do not have as consistent WIFI as cities do. Nevertheless, we have contacted the property owner requesting her to look into the cottage having its own booster. We hope you still had an enjoyable time. Property Owner

  • "A beautiful barn located on the owner's farm in a very quiet country lane."

The owner is very welcoming and offers any help. The barn is comfortable and comfy for up to six persons (we were just 4 adults) and the kitchen is well stocked with equipment. The area is beautiful with lovely walks right from the front door and Ledbury a delightful market town just 5 mins drive away with plenty of restaurants, cafes and shops. We also drove to Gt Malvern (20 mins drive) and walked in the hills. We were blessed with great weather and spent sunbathing days at the barn too. All round relaxing and lovely week away. I can recommend this property.

Many thanks for leaving your comments on Whites Farm Barn. We were pleased to hear you were able to enjoy the surrounding areas and enjoy the beautiful barn! Property Owner

The property is idyllically located on a picturesque lane with fantastic walks on your doorstep The 500 year old barn is extremely charming and quaint and made for a fabulous stay for my family and in laws Mary the owner was on hand to ensure we had a comfortable stay Only slight negatives is no Wi-Fi although it was stated on booking. and blinds in rooms not sufficient to keep out the sunlight, so an early morning walk it was, other than that would recommend

Its airy space and lovely touches of stylish comfort have so much added to the enjoyment of our stay. We have loved exploring the town and surrounding area and Mary has been so helpful in every way, especially in recommending so many lovely places to eat. It's been a perfect oasis to relax and revisit some favourite places - the Mappa Mundi in Hereford Cathedral was a real highlight.
