"This is a lovely comfortable property in a beautiful area."
The ancient timbers are beautiful. Unfortunately it is very close to the busy A40 which marred the stay slightly and there are 20+ steps from the car park to the front door so you' ll need your hiking boots!
-
"Beautiful property, lots of privacy."
Owners were lovely, friendly and helpful. There was everything we and Molly (Labrador) needed. Hope to return at some point x

"We enjoyed our holiday at the cottage despite the weather and everything we needed was on site."
Lynne and Craig were very welcoming and if anyone wants a cream tea do visit the cafe at Norton House! The dogs enjoyed the freedom of the secure gardens.

"We arrived at the cider loft & liked the look & location of it , but on closer ..."
We arrived at the cider loft & liked the look & location of it , but on closer inspection the general cleanliness & maintaince of the property were lacking ( the microwave & oven both had a lot of dried food stuck inside ) ( kettle was brown) (cutlery drawer had crumbs inside it ) (bathroom sink plug chain broken ) (needs slip mat for bath for when showering )(heaters wouldn’t work apart from one in bedroom , admittedly there was a portable gas fire ) (bottom oven did not work ) we did run out of gas ( in this amazing summer weather) but Craig did replace the following morning
Many thanks for your feedback, we value all comments and look for opportunities for improvement. As a direct response to your comments we have done the following: * We have changed our cleaner. and implemented a check plan. * We have put slip mats into all of our bathrooms. * We have ordered a new cooker and booked an electrician to fit. In the meantime we have provided a new air fryer to supplement the other facilities. We turn the heating off at the beginning of June for the summer season. We do though recognise that some summer evenings can be cool and so leave the heating available for the bedroom and a gas fire with unlimited gas available for the living area. Property Owner

"We had a great weekend."
It was so good that the garden is completely enclosed so no isues letting the dog out. Good location, 30 min walk into Symonds Yat with great pubs and walks by the river, we also did the Doward Walk, a steep climb initially, but very nice once you are up there. Craig and Lynn were great hosts and we had a cream tea in thier gallery/tea room.

"A delightful cottage with everything we needed."
Very comfortable and the owners were very friendly.

"A very comfortable cottage with everything we needed."
The garden was fully enclosed so our dog was also safe wandering around outside. The owners are very friendly and very helpful. I wasn't aware that the cottage sat above another cottage when I booked. This wasn't a problem other than the fact that we could hear their snoring on a couple of occasions. A fantastic base if you like walking. Would definitely think about going here again.
