A fantastic large property to stay in and so quiet, ideal for relaxing and visiting the local area. Lots of wildlife to see and the most amazing walks through ancient woodland. Wendy and Dave were such amazing hosts. We would highly recommend this place. Thanks you so much

  • "This is a wonderful place for a holiday."

The farmhouse is spacious, well equipped (including an excellent selection of tourist information and relevant OS maps) and comfy beds - what more could you ask for?! The owners, Wendy and David, live next door and are very welcoming, but without intruding (as we have unfortunately experienced occasionally elsewhere). Their Old English Sheepdog is a character! Most of the time it is blissfully quiet and 'far from the madding crowd', but it is on a working farm so don't be surprised if you're woken up by bleeting sheep, mooing cattle, or the resident pheasant. You might also see green woodpeckers, hear owls and even see deer. One of the best places we've ever stayed.

Thank you Heather for your wonderful review. David and myself thoroughly enjoyed having you, Robin and Diane holiday here in The Farmhouse. It is always nice to know and a pleasure to here feedback of customers holidays. Thank you once again and our Old English Sheepdog loved making friends with you all. Best Wishes Wendy & David Property Owner

Beautiful farmhouse conversion, owners had put so much work into making it perfect. Views from every window were amazing. Their kindness and concern was just right too.

  • "The Farmhouse was a perfect quiet place to get away from the hustle and bustle of life, sat on the patio in the sun looking over fields and hills."

We did have to phone Wendy ( the owner) as we had no hot water, Wendy and Dave came straight round and looked at the boiler to see if It was something easy they could fix but a engineer was need, they came first thing the next morning and it was fixed,Wendy phoned me to let me know it was done, it was just one of those things that happen it didn’t spoil our day as there’s electric showers and dishwasher. We just carried on with our holiday. Wendy was so apologetic, even brought round wine, beer and a cake as a apology It was very thoughtful but not needed but was a lovely gesture. The kitchen was very well equipped, with alot more than I expected for a holiday home. There is nothing negative we can say about aThe Farmhouse, good location for travelling around

  • "We had a fabulous week staying at The Farmhouse, with owners Wendy and David greeting us warmly on arrival and on hand if needed."

During the week we had chats with Wendy and her beautiful old English sheepdog (respectfully distanced of course). The farmhouse is wonderfully characterful with a wealth of exposed beams and is very spacious and comfortably appointed. The location is very well connected with lots of towns to explore in a small radius, country pubs and not to be missed Eastnor Castle. There is much more to see, currently closed due to pandemic precautions. Our days were nicely filled, travelling as a middle aged couple, and returning for a light tea in the full equipped kitchen of an evening and a night in front of tv in the reclining sofas was just perfect. Even for maximum capacity of six you would not be cramped. The farm has cows and a resident bull, sheep, laying chickens (welcome pack including freshly laid eggs) and seven resident black and white farm cats mooching around the place. So very peaceful. We will definitely return and will certainly keep in touch with Wendy. This was the most perfect self catering accommodation we have ever booked.
