  • "A very well equipped cottage in a good village location."

Everything was supplied from kitchen utensils to board games and DVD's. We did have to ask the owner to turn up the heating during our stay as it wasn't warm enough and he obliged. I would recommend this property to anybody wanting to stay in the Cotswolds.

Thank you Alan for the great feedback. Glad we were able to adjust the heating to your satisfaction. Property Owner

This is a fabulous property, fitted to the highest standards with everything you may need for your stay. And when I say everything, I mean everything. Superb kitchen, we like to cook in all the time, which made me feel jealous compared with my own! Cosy details everywhere, nice location, minimal road noise in the early hours which didn’t affect our stay. Just relax and enjoy.

I would agree with all the previous comments. It was beautifully clean and a perfect position. If you fancy taking the bus it’s just down the road. The local pub, the Old George Inn had good pub grub and the local Co Op was very well stocked. Also the fish and chip shop was great. Couldn’t fault anything!

The array of teas including DECAF TEA and COFFEE was a lovely touch as was the Wine, cake and milk on arrival. Everything you need for an enjoyable stay is here. We have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Hayloft Cottage. South Cerney is a very nice village with a Co-Op within walking distance and a Delicatessen called Braai House that is well worth a visit, their cooked breakfast is stunning! Upon arrival the house was in perfect condition and has we noticed it had been renovated to an excellent standard, combining old and new. The owners are clearly proud of it and have left a photobook showing the work that had been carried out. A bottle of fresh milk and a nice cake were left for us, which makes a huge difference after a long road trip. So many places don't bother with this simple gesture but it makes the world of difference. The owner was quick to reply to any questions too. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again, especially with at least one good pub in easy walking distance. Very tiny observation is that we could have done with bigger towels, but that's me scratching around for something to improve. What's not to like?

Thank you for taking the time to submit your feedback. These comments are very helpful. We are so glad you enjoyed your stay and thank you for the suggestion over the towels which we will consider. Property Owner
