  • "Wasn't made clear that bathroom was on different floor to bedrooms."

    toilet cistern needs attention, does not flush properly. gate tricky to lock/unlock light above outside door not working no oven glove in kitchen freezer section of fridge not usable due to previous occupants product frozen to base beds comfortable although duvets too heavy for summer use towels very good internet and tv good shower water pressure and temperature control good

  • "This was our second stay at The Loft."

    We’re three ladies from mid 50’s to early 60’s and appreciate a good standard of accommodation. The Loft is just that… contemporary, spotlessly clean with comfy beds, fluffy towels and lovely little extras such as milk, cookies and a little cleaning pack. Oh… and a fan which came in handy as the weather was very hot when we we visiting! We will definitely be back again!

  • "Perfect, ALMOST."

    Presentation of property & location were just great. We would stay again; however a ceiling light above the W/C hung out and I had to refit it. Water pressure is very good, but the W/C flush is dreadful & has a Cistern fault. The outside alleyway entrance is plastered with Pidgeon mess which is a health issue, but could be minimised with a stiff brush and bucket of disinfectant when handover cleaning takes place. A cheese grater would also be a good addition.

  • "Nothing to complain about."

    Main issue we experienced was broken glass in the alley coming off the road - not the most pleasant entry experience. Would also suggest that the information pack is update to reflect the bins/bin bag situation as it was not accurate i.e. bags were not where they said they'd be etc.

  • "Lovely accommodation in a great location."

    Very well equipped and clean. Our only issue was the lack of car parking near to the accommodation. Would definitely recommend it.

  • "Very nice apartment at a very good location."

    There are stairs but we were able to manage that with 3 kids under 6 so not an issue. Recommended!

  • "This place was amazing!"

    As long as you can do stairs, this is the place for you. It is up one flight of stairs for the main sitting room, kitchen and bathroom. The bedrooms are up one more floor. We were there in November and it was warm and simply lovely. There is a sandwich shop straight across the street. And the only noise is the church bells which we loved. You enter the property from the back of the building in a little ally. Very private and charming. If you are wondering if this is the place for you, it is! The location could not be better. All of Stow just steps away.

  • "Great property, clean and comfortable, superb location for exploring the town on foot and the wider area by car."

    Only very minor points were no overn gloves, but we managed fone with tea towels. Oh and the toilet flush is pretty useless

  • "The property was excellent."

    Well maintained, cosy, and delightfully decorated. Great location, and very central to the community. Only problem we encountered was ongoing issues with the door key, as it would take repeated tries to open the outside door. Locking and opening from the inside was no problem.

  • "The Loft was so comfortable for our family of four while we stayed at the Cotswolds."

    The place was amazingly clean, had everything we needed for a week, was close and convenient to the village and so comfortable. The beds were amazing and it felt like home the entire time we were there.

  • "Great little cottage with great location."

    Only downside is the steep and narrow stairs, but can’t be helped due to location and architecture of cottage. Once inside cottage everything you need is within.

The highest town in the Cotswolds, Stow-on-the-Wold, originally an Iron Age Fort, epitomises olde worlde England. This ancient market town has played host to many fairs since the 12th century and today holds a biannual Gypsy Horse Fair, craft fairs and monthly Farmers' market. The vast market square boasts an ancient cross at one end and the village stocks at the other, surrounded by an elegant array of Cotswold stone townhouses, antique shops, tea rooms, traditional pubs, award-winning restaurants and its very own cricket museum. Many walks and cycle rides through the beautiful rolling countryside of the Cotswolds can be enjoyed from the centre of Stow, with the Macmillan Way, Heart of England Way, Gloucestershire and Monarch's Way all running close to the town. Bourton-on-the-Water, known as the 'Venice of the Cotswolds' as the River Windrush runs through the centre, lies in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and is one of the most popular Cotswold villages. The Saxon market town of Moreton-in-Marsh and the quintessential English village of Broadway are all within easy reach and make a great day out.
