  • "Generally lovely, a cosy atmosphere with plenty of facilities and well located."

However, though facilities were plentiful some were tired and needed an upgrade. 2 large fridges were leaky, rusty and in need of an upgrade. Hot water was a little scarce with 10 people using it and the top floor shower lacked the energy to provide an acceptable flow. The top floor shower, though well appointed and visually pleasing, was impractical as it leaked dreadfully. However, those niggles aside, we had a pleasant and comfortable stay and would highly recommend The Gate House with those few issues addressed.
