• "Great location in Burford within walking distance to all local amenities and excellent pubs and restaurants."

  On site parking was a big plus. The accommodation was spotlessly clean with everything you would need. The location is excellent for exploring the area, including Blenheim Palace, Oxford and good walks from the apartment. We would not hesitate to return for a further visit.

  I would have no hesitation in recommending the property and it's in a great location and has the added bonus of safe off street parking. The high street is literally a few minutes away with a good range of shops and places to eat. There are plenty of places to visit in the area

• "We had a lovely few days break in 5 Burford Mews."

  The apartment was fitted and furnished to a very high standard and was an excellent base from which to explore Burford and the Cotswolds. The lounge was spacious, light and very comfortable for relaxing in on lazy, late mornings or in the evenings. Beds were very comfortable with lovely soft pillows and duvets that kept us just warm enough but not too hot like many duvets in hotels. Showers were really good with plenty of hot water. The kitchen was nicely laid out although we didn't do much, if any, cooking so can't comment on the usability of the oven, etc! The property was really clean and well maintained and was comfortably warm and it was really good to be able to adjust the thermostats to suit ourselves. I'm sure we will return if/when we next fancy a break in the Cotswolds.

  It was really comfortable and clean. Was great to have a beautiful garden to sit out in. We didn't use the car at all during our stay. Burford High Street and the garden centre are a few minutes walk away. We would definitely return.

• "We had a very enjoyable stay at 5 Burford Mews."

  It was one of the best properties we have stayed in. The apartment had a lovely lounge with views onto the garden. The facilities were good. It was a short walk to the Prince of Burford pub and to the High Street with its range of individual shops and places to eat. We visited Blenheim Palace and several NT properties . We will visit again.

• "Check in was smooth and instructions were clear."

  The cottage was well presented with furnishings in excellent condition and comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped and contained all necessary appliances. We enjoyed the complimentary biscuits and Elderflower soft drink. The location was great and convenient to walk to local shops in Burford. Burford was an excellent base to explore the Cotswolds by car.

• "The Mews in Burford is a beautiful modern spacious & cosy ground floor apartment with a garden which attracts many wildlife."

  It was very well equipped with everything to help make our stay enjoyable. Is in a very handy position to explore all the Cotswold has to offer with a 10 min walk to Shops Restaurants & Pubs. Next door is the Prince of Burford Inn which was a big bonus. I would definitely recommend this apartment for your stay in the Cotswold.

• "This was a phenomenal stay!"

  Go out front gate right onto High Street. It was so convenient and came with a designated parking space if you have a car. The inside was better than pictures show. Very clean, well appointed and the owners left goodies for us. Communication with the owner was very good. She even sent pictures to help us make our way. I would certainly recommend this to anyone wanting a convenient, cozy place to stay …5 stars!

• "Beautiful property in a really lovely setting and so convenient to walk into Burford."

  Good to have a welcome pack on arrival too, the only thing that was missing was toilet roll (just as well there was kitchen roll!) we weren't sure if this had been forgotten or it's not supplied? The co-op down the hill solved the problem. A lovely stay, we hope to be back.

  One thing I found out, when hit by a freezing shower, was that there wasn’t enough hot water for both a bath and a shower at the end of the day. It did freshen me up though

  Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry that some normal comforts or extras have been removed from the apartment to minimise the possibility of Covid-19 transfer. We have removed some soft furnishings including cushions, plus the books, magazines, leaflets about local places of interest and DVD's. More positively, though, the apartment has been extended in 2020, upgraded and redecorated throughout. The front bedroom has been extended, both bedrooms have fitted wardrobe units and we have enlarged the en suite shower room. Property Owner

• "The condition of the apartment was exceedingly good as was the location."

  Short walk to town, large garden and playing field beyond. ideal for a family of 4 or a couple. Plenty tp see and do in the area. One minor point: it would be better if the freezer was switched on for arrival but otherwise absolutely no complaints. All the provisions were there for the electrical equipment and a lovely welcome pack. Obviously a lot of thought had gone into the needs of holiday makers.

• "The apartment was very clean and comfortable and very well appointed."

  The owners live in the upper apartment and were very pleasant. The apartment is ideal for some with mobility problems, all being on ground floor level with decent size door openings. I can imagine later in the year it would be lovely sitting with the patio doors open. The owner mentioned plans to extend the bedroom area to increase the size of the front bedroom so sounds like it will be even nicer than it currently is. I would definitely recommend this apartment.

• "I have booked with Manor Cottages several times, I have never been disappointed."

  Our cottage was beautifully decorated and very comfortable. It had everything we needed. Very comfortable bed, soft towels. Parking was a plus. It was in a great location, just at the top of the Hill in Burford. The owners, Judith and Andrew were on hand, but we never needed to contact them. If I stay in the area again, I will definitely book this cottage again.

  In addition the location is perfect. A lane at the front door gives a 5 minute walk to High Street Burford and the shops etc. The apartment itself is in a quiet cul-de-sac yet just off the a40, providing excellent links to the cotswolds in general.
