"The perfect winter break for my birthday and the first time to the midlands but won’t be the last."
Lovely cozy little cottage with the advantage of a hot tub, which was perfect for the chilly winter evenings in an enclosed garden, which was a little over looked but didn’t bother us. Comfy lounge with electric fire which was not needed as the cottage was always lovely and warm. Fully equipped kitchen, although could have done with more than 4 teaspoons, especially when using the dishwasher. Dishwasher tablets, cloth at the sink, teatowel, washing up liquid and kitchen roll all provided along with tea, coffee and sugar and some biscuits which was a nice touch. Liquid hand soap was also at all sinks. Upstairs was very spacious with towels for all guests on each bed. Hairdryer in main bedroom, plenty of hangers and storage. Mattresses on the beds were memory foam and a little firm for our taste, in fact very hard and we do sleep on a firm mattress. But did sleep quite well considering. Very clean and tidy property. So many lovely places to eat out within a 20 minute drive. Would definitely recommend The Little Beehive and if it was an option would score a 4 1/2 out of 5

"Fantastic little cottage set in a beautiful location."
What we liked: Stunning location Extremely clean Friendly owners Very dog friendly (bowls and dog towels provided) Comfortable beds Good facilities (WiFi, hot tub, dishwasher, smart TV, etc) Private and secure parking Secure garden for our two dogs Brilliant local walks Velux windows over the bed so we could watch the stars Deceptively spacious Tastefully decorated interior Good shower Lovely free standing bath Information pack / brochures about the local area provided Good location to access the Malvern hills, Shropshire hills, Cotswolds, Wyre forest, Birmingham, etc Peaceful location - it's on a working farm however the noise is minimal We would have liked extra bed linen or washing facilities so we could have clean bedding however this is just our preference. Everything was lovely and we had a relaxing time away. 100% would recommend :)
-
"Great cottage in lovely location."
Equipment quite basic. Bath towels too small. No cleaning products so not able to clean property properly when we left. No outside lights by hot tub. Hooks near hot tub would be good for hanging towels/bath robe.
-
"Had a very enjoyable stay, lovely cottage, lovely countryside."
We didn't feel that either pub was easily walkable, narrow dark lanes and little or no footpaths. Overall we had a good time and visited some great places.
-
"Lovely home and location."
Clean and clutter-free. Did have a few flies in the house but that is to be expected being in the countryside. Overall, was a lovely and relaxing holiday.
-
"We had a wonderful stay, beautiful property great location."
Especially enjoyed the hot tub
-
"A really good quality property."
A lovely place to stay.
-
"The property was in a lovely quiet surrounding and it was such a nice break."
The property had everything we needed and the hot tub and garden was a great bonus.
-
"A wonder spacious but homely retreat positioned far enough away from the world to relax but central enough to go exploring this beautiful part of the country."
Everything supplied for a cosy home from home experience and a dwelling that has exactly what it says on tin! Cannot thank our hosts enough
-
"Lovely property and well kept."
Really comfortable. Enjoyed touring the local area and visiting some excellent pubs and restaurants.
-
"The cottage was immaculately clean, bright and very well equipped."
-
"Loved The Little Beehive."
Ideal location for our needs, having family living nearby. Definitely a favourite and hope to return soon.
-
"We stated with our two dogs."
All of us had a relaxing break. Property had everything we needed and more. It’s spacious and clean in a lovely location, a short walk to a lovey pub, the manor arms and a short drive to Bewdley and Stourport.
-
"Nice to have outside light."
Gate difficult to use. Key collection point could be easier to find. Doesn’t need to be hidden away. Whistling radiators.
-
"Absolutely loved our weekend at The Little Beehive ❤️ it was a well needed break for a team of support workers who are used to giving, but not taking time for us."
It was a chance for us to unwind, and that’s what we did. The Little Beehive was a home from home, everything you need and more. Cosy, comfy and cute. We’d love to return for our next break ❤️

"Fabulous place to stay in a lovely area ."
Very friendly owner . Lovely local pub nearby. Would stay again
-
"We really enjoyed our week here, the barn was beautiful and surroundings perfect."
Abberley Common was visited most days as I am currently not very mobile due to a recent knee replacement. This was on the doorstep and perfect for walking our two dogs. The hot tub was blissful and frequented at least once a day. The only things I would mention as observations not complaints in any way would be to have fridge freezer instead of an under counter fridge with ice compartment. With a full weeks fresh food shop delivered we struggled to fit everything in and there was only two of us, I don't know how a family of 4 would cope ? Also I would have preferred a washer or washer dryer to a dishwasher. As there was a hot tub we constantly had wet swimwear and wet towels from the hot tub and shower with no means of drying them.
-
"We had an excellent stay at the Little Beehive, the property was very clean, well stocked and fit for purpose."
There were some lovely additional touches that added to experience and the hot tub was amazing. We stayed here with my in-laws and they have two dogs and high standards. They found nothing to complain about and the dogs were also incredibly happy and comfortable. The local area is picturesque with great walks and we loved the sound of geese and cockerels in the morning (although my in-laws didn’t hear them). We did have a requirement to speak to the owner (I broke a glass) and it was nice that she is next door and so understanding and helpful. If I had to make an small negative observation it would be that I would describe the lounge sofas as adequate (not comfortable) but this was never a problem and didn’t detract from our enjoyment of our break away. We had a great stay in this premium property and I would definitely stay here again.
-
"A beautifully presented cottage with all the amenities, excellently located on the edge of Abberley Village."
Very clean throughout, and decorated to a high standard. Thoroughly recommended.
-
"What a lovely property, clean and tidy and very welcoming, everything as perfect as you would expect it."
-
"Great property to stay in a very peaceful part of the world Nice size property and very comfortable Owners are friendly and helpful Highly recommended as a place to go for a relaxing time."
Plenty of walk around the local area if you take your 4 legged friends Would definitely go back Hot tub was very clean and maintained, no issues with wasp nests as mentioned by previous reviewers
-
"Probably the best holiday cottage we have stayed in."
Very spacious and comfortable. We were a little concerned about the wasp nest mentioned in previous reviews but there was no sign of one and only had the number of wasps around you would expect for August. The owners live across the courtyard so on hand if you need anything, but otherwise you are not disturbed. Also there are no cameras, despite someone else's review! I can only assume they confused a camera with light sensors! Would definitely recommend!
-
"Had a lovely stay in comfortable cottage with everything you need."
Location perfect to relax and enjoy peace & quiet. Enjoyed walking and relaxing in the hot tub in the evening.
-
"Lovely little cottage in a beautiful area."
Enjoyed our stay, rooms were comfortable and kitchen was fully stocked with crockery, glasses and pots/pans. Plenty to do in the local area, however found the local pub (the manor) a little pushy and over priced in contradiction to other reviews on here. Before we arrived we noticed a recent review highlighting a wasps nest, this still hasn’t been dealt with and impacted our time as we had a number of wasps inside the property, there was no easy way to deal with them, and meant we couldn’t have windows open to cool upstairs rooms. Hot tub was a lovely feature but felt in need of a clean.
-
"Lovely cottage, ideally situated for touring local day's out"
-
"We loved the property."
It is in a lovely location. There were plenty of walks for our dogs and many places to visit locally including Wyre Forest. We would highly recommend this property to any couple with dogs. The owners need to know that there is a wasp nest in the middle at the back above a dark brick just under the eaves.
-
"It was a delightful converted barn and within easy reach of many outstanding areas, especially the Severn Valley Railway."
Good walks locally which our little Miniature Schnauzer took full advantage of. The local pub was good, even though the general manager and staff had only taken over within a few days of our arrival, very welcoming and friendly, food good too. The hot tub was a welcome treat helping us to relax after a full day of walking and sight seeing.
-
"Lovely cottage In beautiful surroundings, clean, bright and airy although the kitchen was very dark and needed lights on at all times."
Bed linen and towels lovely and white, all sleeping pillows had protective covers too. Loved the little touches eg hand soap, cookies. Enclosed garden with maintained lawn and borders. Bed side lamps brilliant with usb ports Great hot tub and bath lovely and deep. Would recommend a grab rail in the shower as it’s very slippery and possibly another hand rail going up the stairs. Not to use highly perfumed products on the scatter cushions in the lounge due to possible allergies and asthma customers. We did feel very uncomfortable being watched as we noticed a camera on the owners property overlooking the garden and hot tub area. The owners live next door probably only 50 foot away. The photos however do make the property look bigger than actually was especially the shower. Loud Geese and cockerel that seemed to crow at the wrong time of day lol
We do not have a camera. Property Owner

"Cottage was as described, clean, tidy and well maintained."
Loved the hot tub and the enclosed garden. Lovely area with plenty to do and nice walks to go with our dogs. Egg cups, a tray and extra towels and tea towels would have been appreciated.
-
"We had an amazing stay at The Little Beehive and would definitely recommend."
We went from the Monday-Friday and took our dog with us. It was in the most scenic area, we went on some lovely walks and had a lovely meal at the local pub. The property itself was clean and cosy, the hot tub was an extra added bonus it was lovely and we got an amazing week weather wise. We will defiantly be back! Thank you for an amazing stay. "Fabulous cottage - spotlessly clean, very comfortable, quiet location and wonderful hot tub!"
We had such a relaxing stay, and the Easter goodies were a lovely additional touch. Thank you!
-
"Everything about the cottage was perfect."
The owners were lovely. Definitely will be going bck again
-
"Lovely little house to stay in!"
Quiet and calming, with lovely walks and countryside to be emersed in. Hot tub in garden is a bonus, but felt slightly on show to the other house in shared courtyard, the fences are high but not high enough to shield you from view! Overall a lovely place to stay, despite the torrential rain we really enjoyed ourselves and was so nice to have an actual enclosed garden very rare that it isn't shared or just secured with a bit of rope to be "enclosed", so thank you for that! Will be recommending to friends/family 100%
-
"Lovely, clean, quiet, relaxing location."
The Little Beehive was certainly a home from home. Beautifully warm during a rather "fresh" week in February/March. Hot tub was a wonderful addition. Well located for days out to Westmidlands Safari Park and Severn Valley Steam trains. Good walks in the local area and would recommend the local pub/restaurant/Inn for an evening meal. Only criticism would be lacking of info on local points of interest.
-
"We certainly enjoyed staying in the Little Beehive."
The property is easy to find, spacious and decorated in a fresh modern style. The little garden is private and secure - such a boon for dog owners . A hot tub is a real treat and this was easy to operate well maintained. We enjoyed walking the local pub and the Norman Church. We only ate at the pub once - lovely food but being Gastro Pub was a bit over our budget - no scampi and chips here . The description of the property and facilities is accurate and covers everything I can't add anything else
-
"We loved our stay at the little beehive!"
The property was comfortable and quiet. We particularly enjoyed the little garden with the hot tub.

"The cottage and decor was beautiful."
The Christmas tree was a nice touch, thank you. The kitchen was well equipped including T-Towels. The bathrooms had hand soap, towels and toilet paper. This side of things was brilliant. The cottage was a bit warm so we turned down the radiator theromostats as to not waste energy. Our dog loved his stay and the local walks. It was a lovely peaceful Christmas. The only thing we were not happy about was that the dishwasher had not been emptied properly and there was a pool of stagnent water in the bottom which was rather potent to the nostrils and turned the stomach. Then we discovered that we had to wash EVERY plate, cup, and utensil especially the serving spoons, plastic utensils and whisk and container... there were still food on these items!! We could not find a sweeping brush, dustpan and brush or a mop to clean floors while we were there. Only a hoover was supplied. I would have liked to mop the floor where our dog was in and out of the building. A washing machine would have been useful too. I didn't realise there was not one. I should have read the description more carefully. We did not use the jacuzzi as we were not sure of the hygene issues. Also, an update on the matresses would not go a miss. I didn't know that 1970's style sprung mattresses still existed, I tossed and turned with springs in my ribs most of the night. Other than the hygene and matresses, this cottage could have been sooo much better. A lovely building in an oustanding area.

"The Little Beehive is a beautiful property, well maintained and in such a lovely rural area."
The hot tub is such a luxurious added bonus that we really enjoyed. All rooms were spotless and had everything we needed.
-

-
"Lovely weekend break at the Little Beehive, beautiful cottage, with lovely walks around."
Near an extremely friendly village and fabulous local pub with lovely food, drinks and atmosphere. Thank you for a relaxing weekend break.
-
"We enjoyed our stay at The Little Beehive, it was a really good location (we found it easy to find too) and there was plenty of space for 2 adults, a 9 month old baby and a labrador."
The garden is secure for a dog and a good size too. We found the house warm and comfortable. However we did find the master bed mattress uncomfortable as we could feel the springs in it. For anyone who has a bottle fed baby, the microwave is too small for the tall mam bottles but we were able to boil sterilise them.
-
"We had a great stay in the Little Beehive, a lovely and comfortable barn conversion."
Really well equipped and well appointed property, a couple of minor omissions; an electric shaver point (unless it was hiding somewhere) and a hook on the bathroom door. Plenty to do in the area or stay in and relax in the hot tub. We would certainly return and heartily recommend The Little Beehive.
-
"A wonderful bright and spacious cottage, set in a very rural quiet location."
Extremely clean and comfortable. Well equipped with all you need. Great location for exploring the local area. And the added bonus of a hot tub. Would love to stay again.

We especially enjoyed the secure garden for our dog and of course the wonderful hot tub. We stayed for 2 weeks and were given clean bedding and towels after week 1, which were very welcome. Would definitely recommend.

Highly recommended.
-
"Beautiful, quiet, relaxing, everything you need, set on outskirts of gorgeous, friendly village, we were sorry to miss the Platinum Jubilee celebrations, it was lovely to see the the preparations the "Queen-crows"."
Spacious, private and very clean. The hot tub was wonderful. The downstairs loo seat needs tightening by the way, a very minor thing :-) Thank you
-

"A fantastic, clean and comfortable property in a beautiful and peaceful location."
It has everything you need and the hot tub is amazing. The owner was very welcoming and attentive with any issues. We will definitely recommend and hopefully return in the future. The only thing we would recommend is tall glasses in the kitchen and some drawers in the bedroom.
